Chapter 2: First Day of Being A Twice

Jeongyeon's POV

I'm so happy that I was picked to be a member! THIS IS MY DREAM! I really thank god for this! My best friend Jihyo was also picked to be in the twice group! I'm so happy to be with my best friend!

PD-nim called us into his office to congratulate us. There are 9 member in our group. Nayeon, Jihyo, Me, Mina, Sana, Momo, Dahyun, Chaeng, and Tzuyu. I'm so glad we're close with each other so there wouldn't be any awkwardness between us.

'Congratulations girls! You are now the new rookie group, TWICE!' PD-nim said. We hugged each other and cheered each other on.

'Thank you PD-nim!' We all said. We're all so happy to be in a group with everyone.

With all the overwhelming happiness I'm feeling right now, I can't help but remember Jisoo.

~flashback~

'Hey, you're doing alright. You'll be fine. You got this!' She said while wiping my tears. That was the day when I cried. Honestly, there were so many days when I wanted to give up because it was just so hard.

'Thank you for being there babe. I honestly don't know what I'll do without you.' We hugged. I felt comfort. It only happens when I'm with her...but because of my dumbass, she's not mine anymore.

~end of flashback~

I still put a smile on my face despite the sad memory that's now playing in my head.

We went to go eat dinner together. Our first dinner together as a group. It was fun. Lots of laughter and crying because of the memories of us when we were just trainees at JYP. We drank our night away like it's our last night on Earth.

Everyone got drunk except for me and the maknaes: Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Dahyun is carrying Sana. Chaeyoung is carrying Mina. Tzuyu is carrying Momo. And I'm carrying our eldest, Nayeon and my best friend, Jihyo. We brought them to their own beds. We removed their make ups.

'Sorry girls for making you do this' I said to maknaes.

'It's okay unnie. We're family here' I smiled when I heard Chaeyoung said that.

'Yeah, Chaeng is right Jeongyeon-nie' Dahyun said.

'Aww, come here you three. Hug your unnie' I said when I opened my arms, waiting for them to come and hug me. When they did, I hugged them tight. They're such good girls.

'Go on, get ready for bed' I said when I picked up the pads we used to the drunks girls' faces.

I went to the balcony for fresh air. It was quite a sight because the lights were super nice. 'Jisoo, I'm starting to live my dream. I hope you are too...with him' I teared up a bit but it's time to start a new life.

The next day...

We all got ready pretty early. We have a dance practice at JYP for our debut. We all went in to the van. I sat beside Nayeon.

'Jeongyeon ~_~' What the hell? Is she really the ledest in our group? She's more like the maknae. Haha, she's so cute.

'Hmm?'

'Wake me up when we're there' She leaned on my shoulder and I was surprised and uncomfortable for a second. I was gonna stop her but I remembered that the person who didn't like girls being clingy with me is now in someone else's arms. So, I just let Nayeon lean on my shoulder.

We arrived at the dance studio and practiced for hours. I was sweating and Nayeon gave a towel.

'Thanks unnie!' I said while doing aegyo

'Of course! I'm the eldest, I'm supposed to be takig care of you guys' she said when she started handing out the water bottles.

'Eldest, my ass' I whispered while wiping my face with the towel she gave me.

'What? I heard that Jeongyeon!' She said and I was surprised she heard that. Haha!

'Heard what? That you're a bunny? Yeah, you're right' I chuckled and everytime started laughing too.

'Jeongyeon!' Uh oh, RUN.

She chased me out and we ran around the building. I'm surprised no one yelled at us. haha!

I was walking to the vending machine. *look to the right* *look to the left* *look at the back* phew! She's not here. I started inserting coins in the vending machine. I bent down to get my drink and when I stood up. I saw Jisoo clinging to jinyoung's arm. I was surprised. We had an eye contact and I just walked away.

'Fuck! No. You're not falling yet. Not now' I said tryingto calm myself in the bathroom. When suddenly, someone walked in. It startled me and I wiped away my tears.

'Jeongyeon? You okay?' The gentle voice asked while rubbing my back.

'Yeah. I'm okay, Nayeon. Thanks' I said then she hugged me. That hug, it felt somewhat comfortable. We stayed like that for minutes until I calm down.

'Spill' she said, waiting for something to be spilled out.

With the hug and comfort I got from her, I thought and felt that it's gonna be okay to tell her everything.

'It's okay. Things happen for a reason. You'll move on soon.' She rubbed my back again while I'm trying to let all the negative feelings inside.

'Thank you unnie' I said. I washed my face and we went back to the dance studio.

'Jeongyeonnie' Dahyun called when she saw me walking behind Nayeon. She was eating a snack bar with her legs crossed, then she stood up to see what was wrong. Everyone did. I ended up telling all of them. That I blame myself for everything. I was immature. I'm a dickhead. I cried again.

'It's okay Jeongyeon. Everyone changes. You'll change to be a better person, it's up to you' jihyo said while rubbing my back.

'Yeah unnie. I haven't been in a relationship but we'll help you move on' Chaeyoung said and everyone agreed with her.

'We're here for you' I was surprised. Not because of what Nayeon said, but itms what Nayeon did. She put her forehead against my forehead, carressing my right cheek wtih her right hand. She smiled. I blushed.

'Stop being gay Nayeon' My excuse to back up. I avoided her eyes. Shit. My heart is pounding like crazy.

'Wow, I'm tryna comfort you!' She sulked. Everyone laughed.

'Thank you, Nayeon-nie' I said when I patted her head and smiled at her. 'Thank you, everyone' I smiled at the others.

'Nayeon-nie, are you blushing?' Tzyu asked while smirking.

'Ouuuuuu' everyone exclaimed.

'Shut up, Tzuyu. I'm not' Nayeon said when she hit Tzuyu gently.

Everyone was laughing. The sad vibe across the room was replaced by laughter and loudness of the group. I'm so grateful to have them in my life. I just smiled while watching them laugh and make fun of Nayeon.
