Chapter 6: Is it really okay?

Nayeon's POV

It's now the day for premiere night for the movie. A lot of fancs came, both bts and twice came. It was overwhelming. My seat is beside Jimin oppa's, a row away from the other members. Everyone screamed when they saw Jimin sit beside me. They were all giggling in joy.

'How are you?' Jimin oppa asked. I looked at him and looked right away in awkwardness.

'Ahh I've been week oppa' I just smiled.

Then the movie started.

The fans in the back are giggling, I coould also hear some of the member from bts and voices of my member giggle and squeal. When it was the kissing I closed my eyes. I'm cringing, it reminds me of the night he actually kissed me. Aigoo. I bit my lower lip due to the embarrassment.

The movie is done. The members started teasing me and hitting me in the arm when Jimin suddenly came up to us with a bouquet. We all looked at him.

'For you' he smiled, giving the bouquet to me. I accepted it.

'Thank you oppa. It was nice working with you' appreciating the flowers he gave me.

'Hey, uhh.. wanna go out for a dinner?' The offered while scratching his head. I was surprised. Everyone is.

'To-tonight?' I stuttered

'Ye-yeah haha' he awkwardly responded

I looked at the members and they all gave me the same reaction 'go with him' as if telling me those phrases when my eyes and Jeongyeon's eyes met she gave me a confused look. She looked down, turned around and walked away. 'What's wrong with her?' I thought.

'Uhm, okay. Let's go oppa' I said and waved goodbye to my members.

Jeongyeon's POV

Nayeon went out with Jimin. I couldn't look at her in the eyes. Thinking about the movie and thinking about the fact that they actually kissed in real life made my heart ache. It feels so heavy. I just walked and walked, trying to take my mind off of it. I sat down beside the street and went through social media. Everyone is talking about them about how good the movie is and how they would look good together. I turned off my phone and tried to keep it in inside. It's aching...my heart is aching.

'Jeongyeon?' A familiar voice came up to me. I looked up and to my surprise, it was Jisoo.

'Ji-Jisoo' I stuttered. I tried to calm myself down.

'The movie was good, don't you think' she sat down beside me, looking at my expressionless face.

'Ye-yeah, I guess so' I said looking down on the ground.

'What are doing here?' I asked curiously.

'Oh..uh. I miss walking around in the middle of the night' She said while walking at the street.

'Where's your man?' I asked. She looked at me in surprised.

'He's not the type to have fun with simple things like this' she sounded disappointed. I felt bad.

'Well...uhm..wanna go for drink then? There's a nearby diner here' I just asked out off nowhere. Well, it's not awkward to me anymore since I don't really care anymore.

We went to nearvy diner and ate street foods and ordered for bottle of beers and soju.

'How do you move on?' I choked on the fish cake I was eating. We were just eating quietly and she suddenly asked such a question. I looked at her and she looked serious.

'*erhm*' clearing my throat 'Well, it takes time.' I said when I drink a shot of soju 'it really takes time to accept and let it sink in that, that person you thought you'll end up with till the end is now in someone elsems arms' taking one more of soju. She probably had a fight with Jinyoung.

'Did you guys had a quarrel and decided to cool off?' I asked while putting soju on my glass. She was just lookign at me. It felt weird.

'No' she said with expresionless face

'Then?' drinking a shot of soju again.

'Why haven't you asked why I went to Jinyoung?' I choked on another question from space.

'Uh..well. You had your choice. It was up to you from the beginning. He makes you happy. And you seem happy with all your posts on social media. If you're happy, then I'm happy too' I straightly said.

'You really did move on, huh' she said while drinking her shot of alcohol.

'It's not that easy you know' I responded

'I had to go through all that crying and aching' I added. She looked at me in gentle. 'Let's go home? It's almost 1 am' I said.

We were walking and just caught up with what's happening in our lives. How our lives has been or what's up with our lives. She kept reminiscing about the past and that got me all confused. She tried to cling onto my arm but I was smooth enough to prevent that from happening.

'I missed this' she stated out of nowhere again. I looked at her when she's looking ahead

'You know, walking at night. Laughing and talking as if nothing could go against us' with me still looking at her in confusion

She looked at me 'Nevermind. Let's go' whej she started to walk ahead again. It's probably the alcohol starting to hit her.

Another minute of walking when I finally saw the 7/11 near my dorm. We walked in and I bought icecream and we went out.

'Well, I'll see you around then?' She looked up to me waiting for a response.

'Ha? Uh, ah, yeah okay' I stuttered.

'I had fun. Thank you' when she hugged. I was surprised. I just rubbed her back when she said something else 'I miss you' she broke the hug wiping out her cheeks when I'm still confused with what's happening and what's been coming out of her mouth since in the beginning.

I arrived at our dorm and turned on the lights in the kitchen when I saw a person figure standing in the counter.

'Aaah! You startled me!' It was Nayeon with her arms crossed with face mask and eyebrow up as if waiting for a word out of me.

'You ahve any idea what time it is?' She pointed her toothbrush at my face. I leaned back.

'Woah! Chill! Ice cream..? Hehe' I offered to get out of her non-stop nagging.

I changed my clothes, sat in the living room and turned tv on. I'm waiting for Nayeon in the bathroom finish washing up her face.

I was looking up a drama when she came. She sat beside me and we started eating ice cream while watching a romantic comedy.

'So, where did oppa take you?' I asked to break the silence in the living room.

'French cuisine' she said while shoving a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth. Omg she's fatass haha how cute

'Everyone is talking about the movie by the way. Saying how you look good and all' I said while eating a spoon of ice cream and watching at the same time.

She put down her spoon and faced me. I was startled.

'Where did you go? What was wrong with you earlier? You could've asked me to go with you, you know. I looked at you but you avoided eye contact with me. If I just knew you're going out, I should've said no to Jimin oppa and went with you wherever you went. Who were you with? Were you alone?' She wouldn't stop talking. She kept asking question I couldn't even talk omg haha

'Ya chill hahah' I joked around. She sulked. She's so cute omggg.

'It's okay. It's your first date with Jimin oppa. So why should I interrupt you with that? I'm okay, I ate dinner just fine. I was with an old friend' I patted her head. She looked at me in gentle.

'It's not a date for your information' she said and continued eating ice cream. I just chuckled.
