Chapter 16: The Night I Saved You

Jeongyeon's POV

We are now at Jimin's hideout. The other members are waiting at a place close to Jimin's hideout. We're gonna meet them later once we save Nayeon. This is nerve-racking. The place is big and it's landscape is huge. There are men walking around. Tsk! This house is so guarded.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated.

Unknown number.

//phone call//

'H-hello?' I answered.

'Hey! Jeongyeon!' The caller greeted and chuckled in the background.

'This voice...Jimin.' I said. The called stopped laughing.

'I see you still know what my voice sounds like, uh? Haha. What about your Nayeon?' I heard him say. I heard a whimper in the background. That must be Nayeon!

'You! Don't you dare lay a finger on Nageon! Or else-!' I was cut off.

'Or else what?'

'You think I'm dumb to not find out Jisoo betrayed me for you?!' He yelled.

'I know you're plotting something against me. Oh, you must be wondering. How did I know? Here, talk to your spy' He said and a few seconds after, I heard a girl's voice.

'Jeongyeonie! Don't come! They're planning to kill you! They will kill y-! Ugh!' The girl was cut off.

'J-Jisoo?! Jisoo!' I worried.

'Hahahaha! Hey, Jeongyeon. You want your ladies back safe and sound? I'll welcome you. But you have to come in...alone' The phone call ended.

'Fuck!' I said as I kick the tree that was beside me.

'Was that Jimin?' The cop asked.

'Y-yeah' I answered.

'Why didn't you tell us?! You're supposed to tell us everything! We're in the middle of saving your friend for godsake!' The investigator yelled at me. He's right I should've.

'S-sorry' I apologized.

'Nothing we can do about it' he said while putting his hands on his waist.

'What did he say?' He asked while I'm looking down.

'He..he wants me to come inside...alone' I answered.

'Aish! This idol is the most evil kpop idol I know. Why the fuck did he even do this? Is he some kind of dumb shit? He's famous and all for goodness sake! He's gonna ruin his image and could go to jail. What's the stupid reason?!' He ranted.

I don't fucking know why Jimin would get to this point. Is he really this stupid to do dumb shit like this? Is he some kind of psycho?'

'I-I don't know...' I answered bluntly.

When a cop came up to us, panting.

'What is it?' The investigator asked.

'A-a guy *pant pant* someone came out of the gate' the cop answered trying to catch his breath.

'What?' We came running behind the trees where we could see the gate. It's one of Jimin's men.

My phone rang again. The investigator looked at me and I out it in loud speak this time.

'Jimin'

'Jeongyeon. You see my men at the gate? Come along' He ended it.
