Chapter 7: It's time

Nayeon's POV

Jimin has been asking me to go out with him daily. I went with him five days in row in the beginning, I still go with him usually but not everyday because I barely get to hang out with the other members now. Jeongyeon has been distant with me so I sometimes ask her to hang out with me but she always says no.

~flashback~

'Jeongyeon wanna go eat lunch with me?' I clinged to her arm.

'Uh sorry unnie I'm going out with Seungyeon-nie. Maybe next time. Just go with Jimin oppa' she said and waved good bye at me

Three days after that..

We're just done photoshoot.

'Jeong, eat dinner with somewhere' I offered

'Ahh sorry unnie I already ate dinner with Chaeng and Dahyun hehe. Text Jimin oppa, he's probably free' she pcked up. Faced me and scratched her head

The next day of that...

'Here Jeongyeon sit with me~' I moved to make space for her.

'Oh it's okay I'm okay here haha' I sulked and put my earbuds on instead.

~end of flashback~

I'm just in the van trying to sleep when someone opened the door. It was Jeongyeon. I just went back to sleep cause even if I offer her to sit with me, she's probably sit with the other members.

'Unnie' I was surprised when someone whispered in my my ear. It was Jeongyeon. She sat beside me? Woah!

'Oh look who sat beside me. I thought you forgot I exist' I rolled my eyes and looked outside of the window but in reality, I'm happy.

'Yeah it's been a year. How are you?' She said sarcastically.

I faked smiled and rolled my eyes at her again.

'Unnie~' she called out to me again.

'Wha-' I was surprised when I faced her. Her face and my eyes are just an inch away. I could feel my heart beat like crazy.  I cleared my throat and looked away.

'I felt your heartbeat. I know I'm handsome unnie you don't have to hide it' she teasingly said

'Ha-ha' I rolled my eyes

'What do you want?' I crossed my arms

'Come to the rooftop of our dorm later at 9 pm when you're done work' she winked at me. It made my heart flustered. I'm gonna be the last one home since I have another schedule for a commercial.

After hours of working, I got home just in time and remembered what Jeongyeon said to me in the van earlier. I dropped off my bad at the dorm. No one is home. They're probably at the rooftop.

I went to the elevator and pressed the top level. I walked out and I saw the maknaes waiting.

'Hi unnie' Tzuyu came up to me.

'You need this' Dahyun said trying to out on the blindfold on me.

'We're just asked to do this' Chaeng said gently leading me somewhere.

We stopped and I'm assuming we've arrived. I saw Jihyo once she removed the blindfold. I'm still in the mid of confusion.

'What's this?' I whispered.

Jihyo smirked. Sana gave me a beautiful bouquet. Mina, and Momo led me the way to the area where there's candle lights everywhere. A path of red petals. Flowers on the side until someone played a guitar. I surprised when I saw Jeongyeon playing the guitar. She's sitting on a chair that is in the middle of the petals from in heart. There are also candles forming a heart with the red petals.

She looked so handsome and the lighting that are hitting her face are perfect. She started singing Soft by J_ust. It's making heart pund like crazy. She's smiling while she's singing. Tears starting to form but not enough for it to fall. It was a magnificent view. I walked slowly towards her, just watching, listening to her singing the song.

'How much did you spend? Aren't you always broke?' I teased. Her cheek turned red in embarrassment. Honestly, I just don't how to react and what to say. I'm overwhelmed.

'Im Nayeon. I can't watch you slowly being taken away from me anymore. It hurts. I canmt think straight when you're with someone else. That's why I'm risking getting rejected because I don't wanna regret doing nothing. That's why I'm stepping up' Finally, the tears that has been forming slowly with happiness, fell.

'Pabo. Why push me away then? Telling me to go with Jimin oppa all the time. Telling me you're busy whenever I ask you to go out with me.' I said hitting her chest gently. Tears started to fall down. Until she hugged me.

'I'm sorry, bunny. I was a coward. I thought you're happier with him. I though you'd look better with him. He's a guy so I though he has the advantage' saying those phrases with her gentle voice and gentle eyes made me feel at ease. It's always her that makes me feel safe and secured. This girl, I love her.

'*erhm*' we broke the hug when we heard the other members smiling at us. We smiled back at them.

We ate at the rooftop. It was full of laughters and probably the best night of my life. Jeongyeon was making fun of Chaeng again. They're so cute haha

'Nayeonnie~ Jeong-unnie wouldn't stop being mean to me >~<' Chaeng pouted and buried her face on my arm.

'Ya, Jeongyeon! Can you stop teasing Chaeng?!' I glared at her.

'Yes ma'am!' She saluted ^_^ she's so cute omg

First night with the love of my life. Night 1, well spent.
