Chapter 15: Hardships

Jeongyeon's POV

I opened my eyes. I looked around and everyone is huddled in around my bed. Wait, where am I? This is not my room..

Dahyun: 'Unnie! You're awake'

Everyone looked at me with worried faces.

'Where is she? Where's Nayeon?' I said while trying to sit up. Jihyo helped me as I groan in pain.

'They're trying to locate where they are now. The JYP team are planning on disbanding the boy group..' Jihyo said.

'That's good. They deserve it!' Momo said angrily.

'After what they did to Jeongyeon and Nayeon unnie? Yeah they deserve more than that.' Chaeyoung agrees.

'I really don't care... I just want to see Nayeon... I want her safe..' I said when tears fall down. The members rubbed my back and hugged me to comfort me.

Nayeon? Are you okay? Where are you?

Nayeon's POV

I was brought into a big mansion. I don't what part of Korea this is but it looks really secluded. The Twice and BTS group are taking a 'break' for awhile JYP said as I watch the news.

Guess that's gonna be a very busy break... I thought.

I wonder if Jeongyeon's alright... Please, Jeongyeon.. be alright.. I'll come back to you you soon, babe..

~Flashbacks~

'Stop! Don't go near her!' I yelled as soon as I saw RM took a knofe from his pocket and point it on Jeongyeon. I try so hard to resist and escape V's grip on my arms. Why are they hurting Jeongyeon this bad?!

'If you come with me, we'll runaway somewhere together where it's just us.'

'But, if you pick Jeongyeon. I'll let you live but who knows when I'll feel the vibe of killing' he added while he gave a shrug.

'Na..Nayeon..it's okay..g-go..' she said while she tries so hard to talk taking all the pain. Tears started to form in the corner of her eyes...

'No..' I mouthed. I'm looking at her gently in the eyes replaying how we became us. The laughter, love and happiness throughout out relationships...oh, how I love her..

I slowly weakened and calmed myself. V could feel it and he let go.

'That's it. That's my girl' Jimin said. He put his arm around me.

I looked down and a tear fell down. I'm sorry, Jeongyeon... this is the only way I could think of for them to leave you alone..I'm sorry.

We turned around.

'Stop! You can't!' Jeongyeon resisted as she tried to run towards me and Jimin but V caught her and punched her to the ground.

As soon as she fell I ran towards her. She's shaking... blood is dripping down to her face.. the corner of her lips is also bleeding...

I couldn't say anything but look at her face. She grasp my wrists and caressed it gently. I can't leave her like this but I can't manage to look at her gets hurt at the same time.

'Nayeon...don't go...please..' her geip tightened. Tears fell down harder.

'Shh..it's okay...don't talk anymore..I'll be fine. I'll be back, I promise' I said gently. Jimin suddenly grabbed my right arm tellingn me we have to go. Jeongyeon tried to tighten her grip but she received too many blows of punches and kicks that drained her energy.

I covered my mouth as I turned around crying.

God..I'm begging you..watch over Jeongyeon..please..

As soon as we walked out of the room, I noticed there's no people and the bar is closed. No wonder why no one was coming.

'This is my family's bar' Jimin said. He looked at me but I didn't say anything. We went out to the exit for employees only and it lead to the backside of the building.

~End of flashbacks~

Then I was brought here. In a locked room with a closet, a washroom and a tv. Wherever this is. I never tried to escape because I'm scared that if I did...if I did...they'll try to kill Jeongyeon.

They managed to plan everything what happened at the bar, there's a high chance of them plotting something if ever I try to go back to Jeongyeon...

Suddenly, someone knocked at the door.

I said as soon as I saw the person who opened the door. She has a tray that has food in it. It's Jisoo.

'Jisoo?'

'Hey, Nayeon'

'W-why are you here?'

'Don't ask. Here' she said when she handed the tray to me.

'Jeongyeon's in the hospital by the way' she said when sat down on the bed.

'What?! How is she? Did you see her? Have you visited her? Was it critical?' I asked more.

'Calm down, Nayeon. She's okay now. In fact, you're the first person she looked for as soon as she woke up' she stated. My tears dropped then she rubbed my back.

'Ji-Jisoo... I wanna see her.. I want to see Jeongyeon... I wanna go back to her..' I cried while she's trying to comfort me.

'Shh.. don't worry, Nayeon. I'm planning to get you out of here' She said. I looked at her.

'No' she looked wy me in confusion.

'If I try to escape, Jimin will come after Jeongyeon. He wouldn't stop until he gets what he wants...me' I said while trying to wipe my tears.

'Nayeon, you can't sacrifice yourself forever. I'm trying to help you because Jeongyeon asked me to. In fact, she wanted me to tell her where she could find you but just like you, I'm afraid if I tell her, she'll come straight to you and that might put herr life in danger' she explained. I looked down.

'I know, you two love each other and I did try to get her away from you. But now, I really just want to help you two to get back with each other without putting your lives in danger' I looked at her in confusion.

'Remember the the premiere night fo your movie and Jimin's? She walked out of your group remember? I saw the whole thing and followed her. We talked and all and I got closure from her. When she loves, she only love that person. I tried to flirt with her even though I was still in a relationship but she kept curving my ass' she stated while tryinng put in jokes to light up the vibe a little.

'You see, Nayeon. You're not the only one who wants to protect the person you love. There's also Jeongyeon. That's why, let her protect you too and don't just think about the negative things that could happen when you want to do or say something.' She looked at me directly in the eyes.

I nodded and felt comfort from her.

'But, what if-' I was cut off by her.

'Shh. Tonight, Jeongyeon and the police will come here. Jimin trusts me but he doesn't know I betrayed him and his friends. I just came by today to tell you that. So be ready by tonight.' She said and gave me a last hug.

Jeongyeon-ah, please be careful.
