May's POV
Everything felt like a dream last night. I couldn't believe that Edward was officially back in our lives. Di pa din talaga ako makapaniwala.
Tinatamad pa ako bumangon kasi ang sakit ng legs ko kagabi kakaentertain ng mga tao kakalakad papunta sa iba ibang lugar.
Up until I heard a loud scream outside the room kaya tumayo ako kaagad at tumakbo sa kusina kung san nangaling yung sigaw. It was evident that it was Milli's voice.
and I was surprised with the scenario in front of me.
Edward and Milli covered in flour laughing at each other. They didn't even notice my presence.
That's why I decided to make them know and pretended to be angry.
"Ang what is this? You wasted so many flour and the kitchen is a mess!"
Milli looked at me with teary eyes and immediately something twisted in my heart but then Edward decided to speak up.
"Oh come on, we were just bonding" and before I could dodge may tumalsik na flour sakin. I was so shocked.
and when I recovered. I couldn't stop myself so I got near them and looked at edward in the eye.
"You barked at the wrong tree mister." and without giving him any signal I slapped him with an egg on the face and that's when all hell broke loose.
*5min after*
We were all lying on the floor laughing like freaks who just got out of mental. Si milli nakahiga sa gitna naming dalawa.
"I'm so happy that you're finally back daddy. We can now be a happy family" nagsalita bigla si Milli.
Nagulat si Edward nakita ko. Para bang may kinang ng onti yung mata niya na parang naiiyak na siya.
"Me too, Milli. I can't wait to see you grow up and beat up all the boys that will try to court you" sagot ni Edward.
Sabay tumingin siya sakin.
"and of course i'll take care of mommy as well. If she'll let me. coz, di pa niya ako sinasagot sa tanong ko kagabi." parinig ni Edward.
Its not that I dont want to marry him again. Its more of ganun nalang ba talaga, papalampasin ko nalang yung ginawa niya ng ganun kadali.
Bigla akong tumayo at pumunta sa kwarto. Nilock ko yung pinto. Bigla naman tumunog yung cellphone ko at pagtingin ko message galing kay Edward.
Edward: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pressure you. I won't bring it up again but I hope you think about it. I really want to make things right.
Habang nakahiga sa kama kinuha ko yung portrait ni Milli at ako sa tabi ng nightstand. Tiningnan ko ang ngiti ni Milli. Bigla namang naalla ko yung ngiti niya kanina nung nagbobonding kami. Iba. Something's telling me that her smile was million times bigger.
Napaisip tuloy ako...Is it time to let Edward back in? Alam ko naman na dapat he should work for it. But, this is not girlfriend boyfriend thing anymore. Pamilya na ang pinaguusapan, may anak na involved and its not like he's doing anything wrong right now. He's been doing very involved in everything. I'm just so confused. Should I let him back in? Should I follow my heart or my mind? My mind tells me to make him work for it, my heart tells me that I should let him in because we both know that me and Milli are happy that he's back.
I am so confused.
