Days left: 9
Kurt headed back to his new dorm after a long day. Tomorrow he would see his final color. There would be no more grey or white or black that wasn't supposed to be there. Blaine was already there, sitting on his bed; playing his phone. Kurt walked in and waited for a hello. He didn't get one. Blaine didn't even look up from his phone. Kurt mentally rolled his eyes and went to the bathroom to fix up before Warbler practice. As soon as it was shaped well enough, he went back into the bedding area.
"Are you ready for rehearsal?" Kurt asked, trying to create at least a little bit of small talk.
Silence.
"Be that way then." Kurt glared. Immature. Without anymore words, he walked out of their dorm and made his way to Warbler practice a few minutes early.

They began rehearsal a few minutes after Kurt had settled in. They practiced a solo for Blaine, or course. Showoff.
"Drinking a German beer with a Cuban cigar
In the middle of Paris with a Dominican broad
Great head on her shoulders, she probably studied abroad
She transferred to Harvard from King's College in March
She says that I'm her favorite, cause she admires the art
Of Michelangelo with the flow, Picasso with the bars
She's well put together like a piece by Gershwin
Renaissance style, tonight is picture perfect
So smile, and pack your bags real good, baby
Cause you'll be gone for a while while while while
Girl tell me how you feel, what your fantasy oh
I see us on a beach down in Mexico
You can put your feet up, be my senorita
We ain't gotta rush just take it slow
You'll be in the high life
Soaking up the sunlight
Anything you want is yours
I'll have you living life like you should
You say you never had it so good
La la la la la la, you never had it so good
La la la la la la
Suffering from first class cabin fever
Now smile, and pack your bags real good, baby
Cause you'll be gone for a while
Girl tell me how you feel, what your fantasy oh
I see us on a beach down in Mexico
You can put your feet up, be my senorita
We ain't gotta rush just take it slow
You'll be in the high life--"Blaine was mid sentence when he was stopped by a student council member bursting into the room holding two sheets of paper. He was out of breath. The kid had curly red hair and freckles scattering his cheeks. "Adam!" Wes said, cutting off Blaine and the music. Kurt smirked, getting a small amount of satisfaction from Blaine's interruption. "How can we help you?"
"I have a paper for... Kurt... Hummel and Blaine Anderson." He replied. Blaine and Kurt exchanged a confused glance. They surged forward to collect their papers. "It's uh, you're new schedule. Principal sent me to give 'em to you." Kurt frowned as he read the paper. All of his classes had been changed, except for the Warblers. He glanced over Blaine's shoulder at his paper. Kurt heard snickering from Blaine's friends. He compared the schedules. They were the exact same. Blaine and Kurt were in all of their classes together. He noticed that even at the bottom, Kurt's locker number was changed. He now had the locker directly next to Blaine.
Blaine folded his arms and turned around, sending a glare at each of his fellow Warblers. Nick and Jeff giggled as they whispered to each other. Adam left the room, sensing the forming tension. They. Did. Not. Blaine thought angrily. "What is this?" He confronted, holding the paper so the rest of the room could see it.
"Uhhhhhh." Trent blushed. "We're not stopping until you and Kurt get together."
"Jeez Guys," Kurt spoke finally. "We keep telling you, we're not interested in each other."
"Are you crazy?!" David spoke up. "Do you want to go blind? We're doing you a favor!" Blaine and Kurt both knew he had a point, but neither would ever admit it.
"I appreciate what you guys are doing," Blaine said, the anger gone from his eyes. "But Kurt and I can both handle ourselves and we don't need you running our lives."
"Nice try. We aren't finished yet though."
That was the end of the conversation. They started working back on their set list.

Kurt and Blaine both walked back to their dorm together. They made small talk, unlike earlier that evening.
"Ugh, my friends. They aren't going to give up. Ever. I feel bad that you have to be put right into the middle of this."
Kurt shrugged. "It's alright. Gives a little excitement to my boring life." This made Blaine laugh.
"Tomorrow we get our last color. Then we have only 8 days." Blaine frowned, his eyes grew sad.
"Can I ask you something?" Kurt blurted, eager for a change of subject. When he didn't receive an answer Kurt continued anyways. "Why do you hate me so much?"
Blaine pondered this for a moment. "You're an attention hog."
Kurt was shocked. "And you're not?! You literally get every solo! And when someone else get any attention, you freak out? That makes you sound very selfish." The tension between the two boys that had finally seemed to ease up built itself a giant wall in between the two again. Blaine didn't respond to this. They walked the rest of the way in silence.
When they finally got back to their dorm, Blaine slipped in the key and turned it, holding the door open for both of them. Kurt strolled in without any acknowledgement that Blaine had acted like a gentleman for once. The time read 9:30 PM. Blaine went to hit the showers and Kurt stayed in the dorm. (Kurt had taken a shower early in the morning of that day) Rather, he moisturized his face. He slipped his pair of red sweatpants and green T-shirt on. The time read 10:30. He plopped on his bed and grabbed the television remote, flipping through channels.
A few minutes later, Blaine bursted in, holding his wadded up uniform in his arms. Blaine yawned and plopped his clothes in the laundry basket lying beside his bed. He collapsed on his own bed, next to Kurt's.
By now Kurt had finally found a channel to watch. It was one of his favorite shows, "Dance Moms".
"Oh I love this show! Blaine said excitedly.
They finished their night screaming at the television together.
