Days left: 10

It was the next day. Blaine and Kurt had their new colors as usual. Blaine was honestly terrified that he wouldn't find his significant other. Time was ticking. After all, there was only 10 days left. It never seemed to leave Blaine's mind that Kurt could be it. Though, it seemed that the more time they spent near each other, the more awkward things seemed. Kurt was rather... an attention hog? Though Blaine couldn't say much because he was just as much an attention hog, if not more. Blaine just wasn't used to people stealing his spotlight. But dang, Kurt's voice was dreamy. In some world, it might've been better than Blaine's.

The day went by quickly. Blaine didn't have too much homework in any of his classes. Dinner arrived super quickly. He made his way directly from his last class to the cafeteria. He was nearly the first one there so he didn't have to wait in a line and had first choice. He chose a hamburger, an apple, and his favorite: a cronut. As he began to sit down, people started to pour in. It didn't take long before all of his friends had joined him at his table. He made sure Kurt wasn't in the room before interrogated. "What's your guys' problem?"

Trent smirked. "I have no idea what you're talking about." Blaine gave him the death glare.

"You know darn well what I'm talking about. Kurt and I being roommates? Ring a bell?"

Everyone rolled their eyes. "Blaine. Are you serious? You only have... what is it...? 10 days?" Asked Jeff. "We're doing you a favor."

"Well I don't know what you think is going to happen but I will let you know that it won't work. Sure Kurt's nice and everything, but he's such an attention hog. I mean have you seen his outfits on the weekends? Plus, he's not even cute." Blaine countered.

Nick made a pouty face. "Awww, Blainey days is jealous. Awww." Blaine's face went red as a tomato. Just then Kurt walked up to the table with his tray of food slid into the spot next to Thad.

"What are you guys talking about?" Blaine suddenly glared down at his food, realizing how interesting and delicious it looked. He picked at it with his fork.

"Nothing..." he muttered without glancing up. Nick and Jeff started giggling. They laughed until tears came to their eyes. Everyone stared at the couple in shock.

"What?" Kurt demanded finally.

Nick wiped the tears that were running down his cheeks. "Oh my gosh. How are you guys not a couple?! The couple goals I swear. I ship it so hard. We need a couple name. Burt?" Blaine swore he could hear Kurt gag.

"Naw, that sounds too much like an old man that works at a tire shop." Wes disagreed. Kurt snorted. "How about Blurt?"

"Ew no. Gross. That just sounds like a blob of slime or something. How about... Klaine?" Trent suggested.

"Sounds kinda like a country. Like I am Klainish. But I like it. Has a nice ring to it though." Everyone nodded in agreement. Except for Kurt and Blaine themselves of course. Blaine rolled his eyes.

"You guys are weird." Blaine glanced at his watch. "Shoot! We've got 45 minutes to get to Warbler practice and I've got to take a shower!" He bit his lips. "Alright, I've got to go. I'll see you guys in 45 minutes I guess." He picked up his food and left.

"Is it just me or is he finding any chance he can get to avoid me?" asked Kurt. They had officially moved dorms this morning and this was the first time they had been near each other all day.

"Probably. Sounds like him. He can be a butthole like that sometimes." Jeff responded with a yawn. Kurt shrugged it off. He wasn't offended. No, he didn't even really know Blaine.
