Maddie's POV:
We were already set at the studio set. Graham was getting ready to introduce me and Ben was somewhere else. "Now our first guest tonight. Was here exactly four years ago and has given us amazing books and films soon! Please give a warm welcome to Maddie." (A/N I still dont have a surname a book on and I dont have a surname for Maddie. Come up with one guys) the crowd cheers as I step put and awkwardly wave at everyone.
I give Graham a quick peck on the cheek. "Come sit sit" he orders me to sit down. "Now. First of. Happy Birthday my girl" he was beaming "Thank you" I felt my cheeks heat up. "Welcome to the show again." I smile at him great fully. "Anyway talk to us about these books being tuned into films" he was determined to get information. "Well okay. So you all know my trilogy and the Premiere is actually on Wednesday. So you are all invited!!!!" I point to everyone in the audience. "Well I'm glad. Anyway our next guest is the ONE AND ONLY Benedict Cumberbatch" all the women in the room scream as Ben walks out. Graham shakes his hand and I give him a quick peck on the cheek.
"Welcome Ben how are you?" Ben and Graham spoke about Ben's new role in the Hamlet. I was so busy thinking that I missed Graham's question to me. "Maddie! Are you with us" Benedict manages to grab my attention. "Yeah sorry" I smile apologetically at Graham.
"So what are your plans after the Premiere" my face must of fallen because Graham looked panicked. "Well um actually. The only reason I am in England is because the Premiere is here. After next Thursday I need to head back to the states" after those words left my mouth everything fell silent.
I felt Benedict shift in his seat. I fixed my eyes on the floor. Graham didn't say a word. Even the audience was silent. "Well" was all that came out of Graham's mouth. "So your leaving again?" Benedict whispered. "Yes" I sounded all breathy. "Well then" suddenly Benedict was up off the seats fixing his suite. "Ben wait please! Wait! I'm sorry! I wanted to tell you but I didn't want to ruin the moments we had. Benedict I love you" Tears were now pouring out. He just stared at me. "D-dont you love me" I was hurt. He looked into my eyes "You never stay long enough for me to love you" that's when I crack.
"Ben wait....I" I couldn't finish my sentence. He just turned on his heel and left the stage. Leaving me alone. In front of the audience.
"Maddie come here" Graham embraced me in a hug. Then I broke down sobbing and crying. Why would he do this to me?
