Chapter 20 - Unsure

Benedict'sPOV:

I felt like I had just left my Maddie at the alter. I was storming out of the studio and hauling a TAXI. I knew I couldn't stay with her for too long. I knew she was going around the world for a few days but never did I think she was going back to America. That was the last thing I thought.

I sit back in the warm TAXI. Tears threatening to spill. "Excuse me mate. Where are you off to?" the driver asks. "Could you take me to the nearest Library" I exhale after my sentence. I just wanted to go home. To lay in bed with Maddie to feel her warmth.

I can't believe this. Why would she leave? Would she come back? Her hurt face comes back to haunt me. Maybe she did love me but had a few things in a America to take care of.

I huff in exhaustion. We pull up outside a Library "That will be a tenner mate" I nod and hand him over a ten pound note and quickly make my escape. As I enter the library its silent and dim lighted. I start walking over to the fantasy section maybe something exciting will cheer me up.  I scan the shelf. Nope.

Romance will surely guide me. I silently wondering over to the other side and scan the shelf closest to my head. I freeze when I notice that the book directly in front of me was Maddie's.

I slowly pull the book out and scan the cover. "My Fallen Angel" wow. (A/N: is going to be my actually book over on Quotev) I sit my self down and start to read.

"But Ara there is more to you than just a pretty face. You might be broken here and there. But your still perfect to me" his voice was needy. "If you love something than you hold tight as long as possible until it goes wrong then you set it free. If it comes back then its meant to be" I realise what he meant. I inhale slowly, letting his words sink in. "I'm done waiting for you! You keep walking out of my life! Stay away" I hiss and walk away tears begging to pour out.

I stare at the book. I finished it. But there is a element of help in there. Even if it was from Maddie, soon she will have enough and walk away. I'll loose her.

Sunlight beams in. Shit. How long have I been here? I check my watch it was already 6 Am I was up all night reading. I quickly place the book back and rush outside and wave a taxi down.

I'm going back to Maddie. I'm finally going to do something I have wanted to do in four years..
