Chapter 34

Maddie's POV:

I woke up with a weird feeling. I turn over to find Ben gently breathing. IT'S CHRISTMAS. I nudge Ben. "hmm? What love?" he grumbles. "its Christmas......" I shout. "shit really!?" he jolts up.  I nod quickly. "Come on" I drag him out of bed and quickly dress. "C'mon!" I clap my hands and then run for the door.

"Maddie wait!!!!" I hear him call. "Lol nope" I bolt to the tree and look outside. A smile is wiped across my face. Snow. On Christmas. "Snow?" i hear Ben's voice call. "YES! I LOVE SNOW" I yell with all my heart. Ben is quickly by my side kissing my forehead. "Merry Christmas love" he smiles slightly. "Merry Christmas Ben" I stand on my tip toes and gently kiss his lips.

"For heaven's sake what is all this noise I mean seriously it is 8-" my so called 'mother' stares at us as she walks down the stairs. "Maddie....you look...so happy" she gives me a loving smile. I want to roll my eyes but stop myself.

"C'mon we better make breakfast." Ben hums. I nod and head for the kitchen.

"Shizzle" I huff once we are out of ear shot of my 'mother' "what?" Ben asks confused. "Nothing dear..." I smile sweetly. "Pancakes?" He changes the subject quickly. "Stupid question" I tease.

"Merry Christmas Ben" Wanda smiles widely at her son. "Merry Christmas mum" he pecks her cheek and resumes his tea. We are all sat around the Christmas tree which me and Ben improved.

Wanda hands him a box. He slowly opens it. I can't contain my laughter as I look inside. "A PHOTO ALBUM OF BEN!!!!!!!" I burst with laughter. "Hilarious mum" he rolls his eyes.

"Okay Wanda and Tim now!!!" I gently give them the perfectly wrapped gifts. Tim has a new watch and Wanda a beautiful bracelet. "Wow these are beautiful Ben thankyou." Wanda gives him a warm smile and so does Tim.

"Okay your parents now" Ben hands my 'parents' their gifts. My 'mother' receives a new kit for whatever. And my 'father' receives a fishing kit.

"Now your turn Maddie" Wanda announces. "Oh no don't be silly" I protest. "Too late we got you something. Well we did Ben hasnt" I look at Ben suspiciously. "What?" He asks lifting his shoulders. "Hmmm" I all I say.

I slowly open the small box from Wanda and Tim. A diamond bracelet. "This is beautiful thank you" I smile widely at them.

I then open my 'parents' one. A very beautiful necklace lays there. In shape of a heart. I open the heart and see a picture of them and on the other side Ben. "Thank you. Its lovely" I lift it to my neck and ask Ben to clip it together. "Perfect" I say to my self. "just like you" Ben whispers in my ear.
