Chapter 7: The ghost

Maddie's POV:

Before I knew it his face lit up. "I mean. Harry. I do love you but I can't go back there. Not for a while. I can't be hurt again" his face dropped. I pulled him towards me as I pecked his cheek. "I'm sorry" I whispered.

I walked out the room. Tears threatening to pour out. I ran down stairs and out the door, I can't help it but let my mind flash back to what happened three years ago.

*flash back*

"Ben. I love you" I giggled as I fell into his arms. "And I love you" he kissed my nose "Forever and ever?" I asked he nodded "Forever and ever. Until the day I die." I leaned in to kiss him.

*flash back ends*

My eyes begin to flood as I sit under a tree.

I must of been there for a while because when I looked round the sun was getting lower, I didn't want to go back. So I began to wonder to a coffee shop, I remember this place. I walked in and sat by the window. Gosh. I haven't sat here for a while.

I felt someone was next to me. As I turned my head I found a waitress there "Hey what can I get you?" she faked smiled at me "Well I would like some tea please with a cookie" I smiled as she walked off. I looked around the room to find a woman reading a book with short blonde hair. I stood up and sat in front of her. "Amanda?" the woman looked up to me. It was Amanda "Your dead" she whispered. "I'm not" I giggled "Then I'm dead. Because your a ghost your in a America. " she said fright and excitement taking over. "Amanda I'm here." I hushed her "well you can't be here. " she got up from her seat trying to push me out. "Why" I asked. "Benedict is coming wit Tom and Martin" I froze dead in my tracks. "Ben" I managed to say. She hugged me "I've missed you" cried into me. I felt her tears roll down my back. "I missed you too" I snuggled into her neck. "Hey Amanda we are here wow work was-" I heard Tom's voice. I turned around to see Martin and Tom just staring at me.  "Hey guys" I choked out. They both looked stunned. "Wow you guys walk fast. Hey Amanda I-" Benedict walked in and stopped. He looked as if he was going to faint. "Maddie?" Benedict asked. I nodded slightly. "Benedict" I looked down embarrassed to see him. "Maddie. When did you get back" he asked stepping forward slightly. "Only yesterday" he nodded. "Maddie I've missed you. I'm sorry." I looked at his deep ocean coloured eyes. "Ben please-" I was cut off "Maddie. Take me back please. I need you" He stepped forward but I stepped back. "Benedict. Leave me alone" I felt the tears roll down my face as I ran for the door.

I ran down the streets of London. No one was chasing me but I kept running. I didn't stop. By the time I did stop it was late. So I found a hotel to stay in for the night. I just wanted this day over.

He had to be there.
