The bus pulled up to the school and by then Aliza and Nate were talking about everything. "Who do you have for homeroom? " asked Aliza. "Mr. Carter." Nate replied "What about you?" "Same." said Aliza smiling. They walked to homeroom together. When they got to the class Mr. Carter said "Everyone have a seat we have a new student with us today." Nate's face turned red. "Nate why don't you come to the font of the class please." said Mr.Carter. Nate went to the front of the class quickly. "Okay everyone this is Nate Brice. Nate tell us about yourself. " said Mr. Carter. "Well," Nate started "I moved here from Tennessee. " "Okay." Mr. Carter said "Have a seat now." After homeroom we had science. He walked with me to the science building and people started to stare at us. "I hate when people stare at me." says Aliza quietly. "It's embarrassing. " "Well let's give them something to stare at that isn't embarrassing. " he says smiling big. Then he lays his arm across her shoulders. Aliza looked at Nate with wide eyes. omg,omg,omg! His arm is around me what do I do? she thought. Now everyone really was starring and whispering to anyone around them. When they finally reached the science building her face was red but she was wearing a smile for the first time in a while. Nate leaned in close to her ear and whispered "You have a beautiful smile, Aliza." "Thanks." she said still smiling. They sit down in their desks and waited for the teacher, Mr. Marr, to come in. While Aliza was sitting in her desk she was thinking to herself as usual. Was he flirting with me? she asked herself. The bell rang to leave for break. Everyone left the classroom quickly but loud. "Aliza, wait up." she heard Nate say. "Okay." she said.
