*Aliza's POV*
I texted Nate, then went to hang out with Sasha. So far she was the only friend I had here. I've also discovered that this place also has its stuck up bullies. But, on the bright side, Nate said that I wouldn't be here long so I don't have to worry. I just wish I knew what he was planning though. "Hey! Aliza over here!" Sasha said waving, pulling me from my thoughts. I ran over to her. "Hey." I said and sat down beside her. "Hey, so how's Nate?" she questioned. "He's good. I just called him. Well, he called me." I smiled. She laughed."Okay."
Me and Sasha talked for hours. Then the door bell rang and the lady that owns the orphanage answered the door. Me and Sasha was in our room but we could hear what was going on. "Aliza!" the lady called, I can't ever remember her name, "Someone's here to see you!" "Okay, I'm coming." I called back. Nate was here. Yay!
I ran to the door only to see my Nate pushed up against the wall with... Cassidy! "Nate?" I said more like a question. He pushed Cassidy away. "Princess, this isn't what it looks like..."
"IT ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!? IT LOOKED TO ME LIKE YOU WERE MAKING OUT WITH THIS WHORE!!" I screamed cutting him off. He walked towards me his arms out. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed. I caught a glimpse at Cassidy who was smirking at me. I flipped them both off and ran. I didn't know where I was going until I was in one of the bathrooms. I found a razor and stared at it. Next thing I know blood was pouring from my arms. I fell to the cold floor. it was slowly getting dark. I heard screaming and then silence.
*Nate's POV*
"Aliza! Aliza, baby please answer me!" I screamed as hot tears streamed my face. "What did you do to her!?" I heard Sasha choke out. She was crying just as much as I was.
"I didn't do anything." I choked out.
"Bull!" Sasha screamed at me.
"I swear! I got here, walked in the door and that girl stopped me just as the lady, that answered the door, left. Then she pushed me and I hit the wall. She started kissing me and I was trying to get her off of me, but then I heard Aliza and she wouldn't let me explain what happened." I told Sasha so fast I was surprised she knew what I had said.
"Okay, so it sounds like this whole thing is Cassidy's fault?" Sasha asked.
"Yea, I guess so. I don't want to blame anyone here." I said. Sasha just nodded.
Me and Sasha got into my car and followed the ambulance to the hospital. We finally got there and I practically ran full speed leaving Sasha behind. I felt two hands hit my shoulders stopping me.
"MOVE!!" I screamed still crying.
"Sir, calm down. You can't go back there. We let you know when you can see her."
Ignoring everything he just said I try to get through those doors to my beautiful princess. "I HAVE TO GO TO HER! SHE NEEDS ME! MY PRINCESS NEEDS ME! LET ME GO!!" I continued to scream, earning a bunch of stares and whispers.
I felt Sasha grab my hand and pull me away from the doors, away from Aliza.
"She will be okay, Nate." Sasha said reassuringly. I just stared at the floor. Just like I've been doing for the past thirty minutes.
"C'mon, lets go get some food." Sasha tried to pull me towards the cafeteria. I didn't move. I just blankly sat there. "Nate, you've got to eat. C'mon." she said again.
*Sasha's POV*
"Nate, you've got to eat. C'mon." I said again. He needed to eat. I don't think he's noticed but from all the crying, and running his fingers through his hair repeatedly, made him look like a mad man. Literally. I was starting to worry about him. I gave up one trying to drag him to the cafeteria, so I went by myself.
*Nate's POV*
"Miss Bekka's family?" a doctor said. I shot up and ran to him. "Are you Nate?"
"Yes!" I said a little louder than I ment.
"Well Nate, Aliza is alive, but she's in a coma from all of the blood loss." At that moment I zoned out. She was in a coma which means she could wake up, or she won't wake up. I pushed the thought of Aliza not waking up away. "Unfortunately, we don't know when she will wake up. Although, it was excellent timing that you got to her when you did. If it wasn't for you and her friend, she wouldn't be alive." the doctor continued. "So... she may not w-wake u-up?" I asked stuttering, my voice cracking. "You never know if the patient will wake, but if Aliza stays strong, she should survive. Just talk to her. She won't answer, but it's a great way to help her. She can hear you even though she's in a coma." he said.
"Okay." I said blankly. "Thank you."
I turned around and walked out the doors and went to my car. When I reached my car, I got in and closed the door, plugged my phone into the car speakers, and played Sorry by Sleeping With Sirens. I started to cry and didn't stop.
*Sasha's POV*
I walked from the cafeteria and started to search for Nate. Where was he? I saw a nurse behind the main desk. "Ma'am, do you know where Nate Brice went?" I asked her nicely. "No, I'm sorry but I don't know who your looking for." she smiled slightly, being polite. "He's tall and looks like a mad man." I giggled a bit at my comment. "Oh, yes he walked out the doors." she said. "Okay, thank you." I smiled at her. I went out the door and thought he may be in his car so I went to the car.
I saw Nate sitting there. He was crying so hard. I felt so bad for him. He didn't do anything, it was Cassidy. By the way, Cassidy is like the popular bitch in high school except in foster care. She's the main bully. I can't stand her.
I decided that Nate needed some time to himself. I walked back in and went back to the cafeteria to find him some food, and hopefully convince him he needs to go home and get some rest.
