We finally got to school and we went straight to our lockers. On the way to the lockers someone pushed me and I looked at Nate. "Don't do that again!" Nate said calmly to the guy that pushed me. "Why?" said the guy "What are you gonna do." Nate stared at him for a few seconds then looked at me. "Lets go Aliza." Nate said. We turned around and went to our class. "I had to leave or I would have lost my temper." he whispered into my ear. "I know and I'm fine Nate he didn't hurt me." I said. "Still, I love you and I am not going to let anyone hurt you Aliza." Nate said. "I love you to" I said smiling. After three periods it was finally lunch time. Nate and I went into the lunchroom and quickly walked over to the little table in the back corner where only we sat. It was nice to have our own table so it was just me and him. "Um, Aliza" Nate said "Do you want to come home with me again tonight? " "Yes. " I said quickly because the last place I want to be is in that house where my "parents" are. I don't consider them my parents. They are strangers to me. All I have is Nate. "Can I ask you something? " Nate asks slowly. "Yes. You can ask me anything. " I replied. "Okay, um, do you 'like' your parents. Like did they always do this to you or did they actually love you at one time?" Nate asked shyly. "Well," I start "I don't really know if they really loved me. All I know is pain." I said quietly. "Oh, I'm so sorry I asked Aliza I didn't know..." I cut him off. "I know. No one knows that. It's okay you don't have to apologize its not your fault." "Okay." he said smiling then kissed me lightly on the cheek. "I love you." he whispered in my ear. "I love you to, Nate." I said.
