It had been about three days after the whole beat up guard incident and Ignis and I were out in the arena training.

I wore my usual attire, with shin and elbow pads on.
Ignis was a ruthless fighter.

I threw a line of energy at him and it wrapped around his body like a tentacle.
I threw him up into the air at least fifty feet but I saw the axe swinging around in a circle before I saw him.
I threw the Vohon Sokyra off course but underestimated the power Ignis had without the axe.

He landed on the ground with a thud, lava rippled through the ground, cracking the stone flooring as the fire wave came closer to me.

I jumped backwards, flipping myself and watching as the ripple of energy went passed me.
I landed with a wobble and looked up to see Ignis throwing his axe around, the handle was made of lava stone and every time he made contact with the axe, it burnt a bright orange lava colour. I never realised this before but the beings who aren't strong enough to hold the weapon actually get burnt by it. Seriously I watched someone try to pick it up and their hand melted.

I created a couple of energy orbs and threw them at him.
The first two he dodged but the last one knocked him off his feet. He skidded back a few feet, dust picking up everywhere.

I took a deep breath in and levitated off the ground, my body glowed like a bright aura and I shot a couple of energy blasts at him.

Ignis quickly jumped into the air, a stream of fire around him and brought me back down with him, I squeaked and created a ball of magic to fall on just before we landed in the stands of the arena.
I groan as he slides off the magic ball before using it as a boost to throw me a few feet away, my feet skidded on the dusty flooring before I create a circle shield, blocking the attack from the Vohon Sokyra.

We both flew backwards, skidding across the ground.
Ignis stands back up as do I and he starts smiling.
"Did you just block an attack with a makeshift shield?!" He said excitedly.

"Yes?"

"Hell yeah! Girl you get stronger everyday!" I laugh with Ignis, as his hands light with flames but our little chat and battle is interrupted by Salo.

He was overweight with long black hair in a plait that touched his shoulder blades, he had a scar going through one eye, blind, his other eye was shifting from all the colours of the rainbow. From red to yellow and so forth.

Ignis had told me a few times that Salo is the god of travel. He can use his abilities to make gateways in the universe and create bridges and portals to travel. They always came in the colours of the rainbow and in the reflection, his sceptres stone, a classic white glowing rock in the centre of a fork styled sceptre, would change into different colours of the rainbow.

Ignis also said that when a gateway was opened, even if it was to a different realm, all six realms would see a rainbow. I thought it to be quite beautiful.

"Carla Trent. Ignis Yaldvir, you're requested to come to the court hearing" he said.
To be completely honest I totally didn't think he'd come out to see us officially. I mean this overweight rainbow road maker tends to just sit on his arse all day.

"Court hearing? Enas's court hearing it's early?!" I said suddenly excited.
Salo didn't respond as I took off across the arena at lightning speed.

I stopped running and looked at the trial of dust behind me.
Ignis and Salo stared in shock.
I don't think any of us realised I could do that..

I sat in a row near the front.
I've never been to a court hearing before and I didn't realise it was private.
I thought it would've been public.
