I was the first to walk into the army quarters. It was just gone six am and everyone of today's heroes were dressed and ready.

"We have about fifteen minutes until Zalla and her Army of Swords is here. Take position, go to the battle front and protect Yaldvir!" I shout, ordering them to run to their posts.

Ignis walks in as the last man runs out, Enas by his side.
"Didn't have to do my job for me" he mumbled.

"Well did you know Zalla would be here in fifteen? No? Didn't think so tough guy" I wink and Ignis laughs.

"Have all the citizens been removed to safer environments to ensue their safety?" Ignis asks as a random guard runs passed.

Enas grabs me before I can hear Ignis answer and we keep walking towards the exit of the palace.

"Right so, three things" E says as we join a line of defence.

"Go for it" I encourage.

He gets distracted by the soldiers who still hate him as they mock, spit and growl at him.
He tries to ignore it but I could see his jaw clenching.
I grabbed his arm and he immediately cooled down.

"Go for it" I say again, making orbs around my arms as backup power.

"One" He says, smiling at me. "Who schedules a war?"

I laugh. He had a point. How did we know Zalla would appear, let alone her actually choosing the time and place. It was weird she didn't wanna do a surprise attack.

"Second of all" he said once I stopped laughing.

"What did we do to Zalla that was so heartbreaking she is trying to kill Salo through and army of soldiers specialising in sword weaponry?"

I didn't reply. How can you reply to that? The only thing my visions showed was the past of Enas and the stones, my sister and Mardus. Not to mention those few times the girl would pop up. I know she was Zalla but she was Zalla before she was a villain.
What turned her heart so black she has to enslave an entire world?

Revenge? Fun? What was the reasoning?

"And third of all"

I looked at E, waiting for his reply.
Before I could say a word he grabs me and dips me, kissing me deeply.

He stands me back up and I blush.

He just kissed me in front of how many people? Like four hundred thousand???
Holy crap.

"What was that for?" I whisper in embarrassment.

"Just in case I didn't get the chance to kiss you again"
Ignis clears his throat rolling his eyes at us.

"Right. So. Romantic things aside. I need squad A to the right section of town, squad C to the left section, squad B and D need to go to the back and front of Yaldvir. I need squad E to protect the civilians. The last squad F, you will be joining us on the front line.

I take this time to commemorate every single one of you and thank you for your protection of Yaldvir and its people." He concludes.

"Go" He says and the generals of the squads start running, followed by their troops.

It left Enas, Ignis and I standing above a crowd of about two hundred soldiers.

"Right. You two, no canoodling" Ignis reprimands I blush and tie my hair up in a pony tail.

"Shall we?" E says as he makes his signature cape appear.

A loud crash from above us makes me shiver.
It was coming from the teleporting station.

Ignis and I take to the skies with Enas manifesting two katanas with strangely shaped handles to follow behind us.
I give him a smile and fly towards the massive ship that is sending bullets our way.

"Just another day in my life" I mumble, throwing about six different orbs of energy at the ship.
It explodes one half of the ship, causing it to crash on the teleporting station, smashing the bridge to pieces.

Ignis throws his axe at a few soldiers on the ground. They all lit up with fire as the axe swung through the middle of their bodies.
I resisted the urge to throw up.

I then noticed they were all female and blue carrying swords with leather clothes on that covered their entire bodies accept for their hands.

I focus back on the ship as a massive wave of soldiers spring from it.
I land on an empty part of the bridge that lead to the massive fourteen story high building that somehow teleported people throughout the universe and start to throw energy orbs at different enemies.
They get hit back, throwing their swords and dying.

A massive group started to charge at me, so I create a force field of white energy around me.
Once I knew the enemies were around me I spat different points of the field outwards, piercing the enemies in the heart, stomach or head.

When I realised I was just being attacked by all sides I shrunk the shield until it was barely off my skin before exploding it, sending a massive shock wave pushing back all the enemies.

I look up and see Ignis, he must of lost his axe as he has manifested flames to take over his arms, he creates the biggest golden flames I have ever seen, slamming his fists down on the golden bridge.

"Go. Find Zalla before she finds you" Ignis shouts as I run towards him, he delivers another blow and I start to run the other way, complying.

I quickly will myself to fly and zip across the entire of Yaldvir.
I had to find Zalla. I had to destroy her stone. Even if it meant taking her life.

The stone somehow made me feel warm like it always did when it knew it's opposite was near.
Swallowing my fear I took higher into the skies to see the damage.

I flew up so high I could see most of the squads. Minus the squads that were in the secret cave protecting the civilians.

The entire of Yaldvir was a mess of bodies and death.
It was horrifying.
Zalla had left us with a war and she wouldn't stop until she killed everyone. Including the king.

I felt the warmth through me spread again and I knew I had to find Zalla.
So I flew down towards the buildings and straight back to the place I'd been living for over half a year.

I flew low enough to zip passed the entrance to the palace, landing on the ground as I manifest a whip and start flicking enemies with the energy whip.
An enemy behind me stabs me in the shoulder causing me to grunt in pain.

I yank the blade out of my shoulder and throw it at them, having the entire blade sink through their stomach.

I ran through the halls as the bodies around me fell, they were strong but considering I could move at the speed of lightning I was a lot stronger and harder to attack.

I reached the throne room and used an energy blast to knock the door open.
Two enemy guards started to charge at me with their swords.
I dodged the first sword by ducking and nearly got hit by the second as I barrel rolled sideways so it wouldn't hit my legs.

I quickly stomped on the ground sending a shockwave small enough to knock them over before manifesting two daggers and stabbing them in the throat.

I stood back up and walked into the throne room, my hands covered in rings on magic.

And there she sat, with her long brown braided hair, long sleeved brown leather top showing a tattoo on the side of her belly with brown leather pants, a white loin cloth and black boots. A sword in her hand, on fire with black magic.
She looked vicious and evil, her eyes glowing with blackness.
She smirks at me showing her pointed white teeth.

She was darker, her yellow eyes almost brown with darkness.
It was Zalla.
