Dante complaints, "This is no quest to find the guardian and save the world. This is grand tour to stay in dilapidated manors."
They stare to the huge abandoned manor in front of them.
Kira asks, "Another dream house, Luc?"
"Nay. Too big. Can't possibly fix it on my own. Must be fifty rooms in there."
Still Luc writes the manor location in his map. He makes the map himself. Using a buffalo skin as parchment and burned branch as his pencil.
Dante asks, "Why you kept writing manors in your map?"
"One day, we would defeat the demons. All the humans hiding in shadows would appear in surface again. They would need homes to stay. These manors could be used to shelter many refugees."
Luc explanations makes Dante smiles.
That's just like him. Thinking far ahead. Unlike Dante who could only think of foods. Or is it time to eat?
Charlie is silent. Something or someone is calling her to this place. Felt like she's summoned.
