"You have changed," says Claudia.

"How?" asks Luc.

"You matured, somehow. You used to be more impatient."

Luc chuckles.

He stares to his hands. And he confesses, "I always know my power isn't enough to defeat him. The one feared by countless men."

"Are you ready to give up now? He would spare you if your returned..."

Luc stares her and asks, "You really trusted him?"

She looks away and says, "No. But I got no choice. And so does you."

Luc holds her chin. He whispers, "I'll give your freedom back, Claudia."

He kisses her and she felt something is pulled out of her by force.

Claudia gasps when he finally releases her.

Something fallen down near them. A girl just dropped a pot before she dashes away from that spot.

Luc asks, "Well?"

"I, I felt very light. My body is..."

"He couldn't control you anymore. I've devoured the demon seed he planted in you...Ugh!"

Luc falls to his knees. His muscles are revolting. His mind is hallucinating. He laughs weakly.

(He did this on purpose! Sending her to me. Knowing I would save her. No! I don't want to be a full fledged demon!)

He couldn't hear when Claudia screams for help. He has fainted.

A girl changes his head compress. She looks relieved when he opens his eyes

Luc doesn't know how long he has passed out. He stares to his hands. Still human hands, not claws. He sighs out of relief.

Son of Man.

He might be a half demon. But he always dreamed to be a normal guy.

"Charlie, it isn't what you think...I'm just helping her..."

She is silent.

"She got demon seed in her. When it bloomed, she would changed into a demon. I, I just..."

Charlie says, "It doesn't matter. Who you kissed mean nothing to me."

She just leaves him.

Luc presses his hand on his forehead. He wasn't thinking earlier. Just wanna get the seed out of Claudia.

(I'm sorry, Charlie. Didn't mean to hurt you...)

Luc closes his eyes again. He felt awful. His body changes from human into demon in certain intervals.

Claudia stares him from a distance. Her fiancee. They have been engaged since they were still in their mothers wombs.

She kneels down next to him. She touches his forehead. Burning fever.

Claudia says, "Return to him. Don't torture yourself like this."

Suddenly she hears, "I think he would pull it through. He's a tough guy."

"Eek! A talking rat!"

"Not damn rat! Why everyone called me a rat? I'm a powerful guardian!"

Claudia kicks him and the tiny guardian flies to outer space.

Not really.

Gaia just fly high soaring to the sky.

"I'll be back!" yells him.
