Hell.
Humans always said it was blazing scorched Earth. Flames everywhere. Too fiery to walk. A place for tormented souls. To face agony and fear until eternity and beyond.
Hell, a source for all demons.
Hell is actually a cold and dark gloomy place. Although constant eerie screams happened often like a background of this place.
Hell is where he belongs.
Why?
Because he's a demon like everyone else here.
The elf sent him to the Moon on purpose. Because he's a demon. And this is where he belongs.
Luc kills another demon that attacked him. Kill or be killed. It's the only way of survival here.
(Will I ever see Charlie again?)
He kept walking, killing any demon who defied him. Feeling more powerful with each fallen victims.
Like a reaper, hungry for more souls. His blade swinged down, sparing no one.
"Like father, like son," says an injured old demon when Luc absorbed some power from fallen demons around him.
Luc points his blade to him. The old demon only sneers. Showing his rotten teeth.
"Spare me, lad. I got no fighting will anymore."
"Who are you? How do you know my father?" asks Luc.
"So the rumor is right. His son has come here."
Luc yells, "Answer me!"
The demon spits some blood to the ground.
"A scorching hell fit for no one. You are no better than him."
Luc thrusts his blade but the tip of the blade stops an inch from his neck.
"Tell me something good and you'll live another day," warns Luc.
"Citadel. You wanna info, that's the place for you."
Luc puts his blade down. He turns around and starts to walk from that place.
The old demon sneers and he leaps with a dagger in on hand. His target is Luc's back. Killing this newbie would boost his specs to the fullest.
Luc stabs his blade behind him. The old demon writhes in agony. He doesn't even look back to see the victim he killed.
"I'm not my father. But I'm nobody's fool," says Luc.
The demon explodes into tiny bits. His power is bestowed into him instantly.
Kill or be killed.
Luc hates this way of staying alive.
(Charlie, I'll come back. Whatever the cost).
Luc kept heading forward. Leaving ashes of fallen demons behind him.
Only one destination for him.
The Citadel.
It's that bright light in the horizon. Shining to the sky.
That tower might be the one connecting the moon to this planet.
He stops walking abruptly.
(If I destroyed that tower, it might stop the dimensional cracks. Destroying the only bridge between our worlds. It would be the right thing to do).
Luc sighs.
It would mean he couldn't get home. He could never see Charlie again. He would be trapped here forever. Until the day he died.
