Why can’t you look into her eyes and see?
Everything she has had to see to know
What is wrong now? Why can’t you let her be?
She’s breaking inside, this isn’t a show
You are watching, can’t stop laughing, you smile
Why are you doing this? She still loves you
She closes her eyes, a tear runs a mile
Your laughter echoes in the dark night blue
This is all a joke to you, isn’t it?
Just another story to tell all your friends
Sadly you’re mistaken, the fires been lit
It’s burning in her eyes, it’s met all ends
Finally over, she’s done with your lies
No longer in fear, she looks in your eyes
