The next day at school was... interesting to say the least. It was a very hostile environment, more than usual. I mean school can always be hostile but i just caught some weird vibes. It was mainly between the Bulldogs and the Serpents. I thought everyone left this petty bullshit behind after Fangs got shot. Why bring it back? To shoot another one of us? I walk into first period knowing who I'll see. I sit down and I wait alittle bit and in walks Reggie. He slightly smiles at me and I laugh softly. "What was that smile?" I ask and he does it again. "It's just a smile you loser." He jokes around and I smile at him. He looked happy today. "You're not crying today." He says and I nod. "I'm trying to keep myself composed." I say and he smiles nods. "Good for you." He says in a happy voice. I thought this was all cute and sweet for a second. Then I let my brain do a instant replay. Reggie? Just called me a dork? He's happy to see I'm not crying? What happened to the boy that made me cry on my first day of school? And Moose kept giving me smiles from across the room. Even Kevin noticed. What the hell is going on? I just gave him a confused look and I just looked forward. Throughout the day I could tell Sweet Pea has a lot of dirty looking coming his way. I get a idea and I didn't like where it was going. I walk over to Reggie. "Reggie, can we talk?" I ask and he nods. I pull him somewhere more quiet. "Look you know Sweet Pea didn't jump me or anything right?" I say and he nods. "Those Ghoulie things did." I then look at him confused. "Then why are you guys acting like this? It's not like he's a woman beater." I say and he shrugs. "He hurt you. Archie told us about what happened to you. It just sucks he broke you like that." I shrugged. "It's not just him, Archie doesn't know the half of it. Trust me." I say walking confused. Is this freaky Friday or some shit? Why is everyone acting weird? I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't in some weird dream. Surprisingly I wasn't. I walked into the class I had with Sweet Pea. I sat down and I kept feeling like he was looking at me. I made a little side glance and my suspicions were correct. He was looking at me. Then I heard him get a text. "What? Damn it!" He yells and he busts out of the class. I look at him confused walking out. I look at Toni and she shrugs. I get up and follow him out. "Sweet Pea!" I yell and he turns around. "Sweet Pea what's wrong?" I ask and he looks pissed. "Are you and Mantle something?" He asks and I look at him confused. "What? I'm not anything with anyone right now I just want you Sweet Pea." I say and he shakes his head. "Then why did he just tell me to back off, saying you're his?" He says yelling a bit and I grab his face. "I'm not Reggie's okay? Whatever he's saying is bullshit." Surprisingly that calmed him down alittle bit. He just sighs and nods. After a bit the bell rings. "Victoria?" Sweet Pea asks and I nod. "Come to the Wyrm tonight?" He asks and I smile at him and I nod. "I'll be there Sweets." I say and then he smiles. The rest of the day I was day dreaming like I used to. I was day dreaming about Sweets goofy smile, falling asleep in his big arms, the way the sparks fly when we kiss, dancing together. Just everything gave me butterflies. No matter what happens I know he will always be the love of my life. In my next class I hear yelling in the hallway. The students look around at each other and we al get up. I get to the halls and it was Sweet Pea and Reggie. Here we go. I run out and I pull Sweet Pea off Reggie with the help of Archie and then Archie holds Reggie back and Sweet Pea just tried to keep going. Fangs and Toni ran over and helped me push him against a locker. "Sweet Pea! Stop!" I yell and he looks at me and is breathing heavily. I know how Sweets gets when he gets in fights. He loses it and blacks out and just lets his fists take over. I'm just glad he didn't have his brass knuckles. We grab his arms and make him walk away. "You're dead Serpent!" Reggie yells and Sweet Pea goes to lunge again and we just pull him out. We go to the cafeteria which at this moment was empty. "What the hell happened?" Fangs asks and Sweet Pea looks at me then back at Fangs. "He was saying how he has Victoria wrapped around his finger. That I don't mean anything to her. When I told him that's bullshit he lunged and we just went at it." I sighed and looked at him. "Sweet Pea you cant do that." Toni says and he shrugs. "He has it coming. He is just a dick who needed to get put in his place." Sweet Pea says and I sigh. Great we are back to square one. Jughead comes outside and looks dumbfounded. "Sweet Pea What the hell?" He says and Sweets explained the story again. "I'll talk to Archie and I'll get Reggie to back off." Jughead says and Sweets shakes his head. "I will hurt him worse if he messes with me again." I give him a look. "Don't say that. How about you play nice?" I ask in a joking voice and he smiles at me a little bit rolls his eyes. I'm just really not in the mood for World war three.
