After Sweets and Fangs left, Veronica called this man that rides limos to pick us up. She was gonna let me wear some of her clothes since I couldn't really access mine and she understood that. We get to her apartment and I see who I assume to be her mother and her father. "You know I'm alittle disappointment Mija, I thought you would've been home for me coming home." Her father says and she smiles weakly and hugs him. "Welcome home daddy." She says and the lady I assume to be her mom speaks up. "Who's your friend? You didn't tell me we were having visitors." She says and I put my hand out and smile softly. "I'm Victoria Jones." I say and the father looks at me weird. "As in Fp Jones?" He says and I shake my head. "He's my uncle, my dads his brother." I say and he nods. "I knew your father in high school. He wrestled." He says and I look at him confused. "Really? I never knew that." I said and he nods. "Was your mother Diana?" The mom says and I nod. It kinda stung but I just smiled weak. "I remember her in high school, she was a great girl." Her mom says and I smile. "Um, Victoria is gonna be my plus one." Veronica says. "What about your boyfriend Archie." Her father says and she shrugs. "I didn't think to ask him." She says and he nods. "Well, I'm gonna show Victoria my closet." She says and grabs my hand and we go into her room. She shuts her giant bedroom doors. "Intense." I say and she nods. "I'm sorry if my parents said something to make you upset." She says and I shake my head. "it's okay. They may not understand everything." I say and she nods knowing they definitely don't.
Veronica helps me pick out a outfit. A navy blue dress, with a stylish jean jacket and dangly earrings. She also practically begged to curl my hair and I let her. I liked when people played with my hair. She styled my hair in a cute way and I was satisfied. Then she noticed the ring on my finger. "Oh my god, are you engaged?" She says and I laugh and shake my head. "It's just a promise ring." I say and she smiles and nods. "I ship you guys completely." She says and I laugh. She finished getting ready and we walked out. "You ladies look gorgeous." Her mother says with a warm smile. I smiled back and nodded. "The limos here, lets get moving." Her father says and we all start walking out. Once we get in the limo we start making small talk.
"So, is your father still leader of the Serpents?" Her father asks and I shook my head. "A lot of things happened, he's currently not in power anymore." I say and he nods. "So who is?" He asks and Veronica gives him a bad look. "Um, me and my cousin Jughead." I say. "Mm." Is all he says and I nod and after a few minutes we get there. And I have never been happier. You could've cut the tension with a knife. We get out of the car and they lead us to another family. I see the boy flirting with a waitress and then he sees us get out of the car and stops and fixes himself. I nudge Veronica discreet. "Nick and friends?"  I whisper and she nods.
We walk over and he kisses our hands and says flirtatious things to us. Hiram whispers stuff to him and he smiles at him.
As the party goes on I was kinda left alone because Veronica was singing with Josie and her band, and I wasn't much of a singer. I just kept drinking my champagne even though it tasted like shit. I saw nick coming up to me and I sighed. "Hello pretty lady." He says with a smirk and I smile. "Hey." I say and I look back up at Veronica. "What's your name again?" He asks and I don't drop my glare from Veronica. I wanted him to catch the hint I wasn't interested. "Victoria, call me Tori." I say and I see him smile out of the corner of my eye. "I heard your a gang leader princess." He says and I nod. "Wanna see my tattoo?" I say with a annoyed tone and he laughs softly. "Fiesta, I like it. Maybe you're just nervous." He says and I shake my head and look at him. "I'm not nervous. I just don't like you. I don't want you catching a wrong impression, I have a committed boyfriend." I say and he shrugs and nods. "Just trying to make friendly chit chat. I saw you were alone. Let me get you another drink, whatever you want." He says and I shrug. "Just get me a soda." I say and he nods and walks away. I sighed and called Sweets. It went to voicemail. I left a message saying that he should come soon to pick me up, I was getting pretty bored.
I put my phone away and nick appears. "Your drink my lady." He says and I smile and take it. I drink about half and then I just watch again. I ended up drinking the whole thing and then felt dizzy. "Did this have alcohol in it?" I ask swaying. He shakes his head. "No are you alright? I think you need fresh air." "I need Sweet Pea." I mumble texting him. 'Com e now." I say and I feel Nick take my phone from me. "Give it back." I groan and fall into him. "I got you baby." He says and he takes me out of the party. "No, where is Sweet Pea." I mumble trying to hold onto the rail of the staircase. "He's not your man for the night." He says and I shake my head. I try to make myself fall backwards so I don't have to go up. I feel my eyes roll to the back of my head and then I faint.
