the end to a era

Last night I slept at Sweet Peas. I fell asleep before everyone left because I was just so tired and stressed I just crashed. Today was the day we find out what happens to my father amongst the Serpents. But first school. We got ready and I wore the same outfit as the day before because I couldn't go home to change. I ride with Sweet Pea just not wanting to let go of him. I just want to go on a long drive with him and never come back. We get to school and everyone was waiting at the front for us. All of us, Betty, Veronica, Gianna, Cheryl, Toni, Sweet Pea, Jughead, Archie, Fangs. We walk in as a group. I feel eyes look at me. Ever since the Serpents came to Riverdale news traveled pretty fast about our issues. I saw a serpent girl give me a glare. I step out of our group. "Whatcha looking at." I say and she shrugs. "Your father is a trader, who's to say you aren't too." She says with a snippy attitude and looks at me up and down challenging my patience. At the point I just got pissed off and grabbed her and threw her against a locker and Veronica and Gianna grab my arms and pull me away before it turns into a outright brawl. I'm just so unstable right now. My world seems to be upside down.
I went into first period and I sat down next to Reggie. He gave me a sad look. "I know what happened with your dad, I'm sorry." He says and I shrug and look at him. "Something always has to get in the way of my happiness." I say and he shrugs. "You got Sweet Pea, he loves you. Don't forget that." He says and I smile alittle. "Thanks Reg." I say softly and he nods. "If you need anything, I'll always be there." He says and I nod. School was long. Definitely the longest day of school I've ever had. Some serpent girls were trying to test me. The guys knew better because they knew the guys would rock their world without me even having to throw a punch.
After school we went to the Wyrm, Veronica, Betty, Archie and even Reggie included. Everyone rode in pairs. When we got there Jax was already there. We sat in our usual spot. I saw Archie and Reggie on edge because they had some run in with the Serpents. We hang out and talk but the only thing on my mind was what everyone would do about my father. After about 30 minutes FP gets on and talks on the microphone. "Listen up! As you all know, my brother was with Penny. It was confirmed. He cares more about Penny then us, his own daughter. And that's not what the Serpents are. We cherish our blood. We are each others blood!" He yells and everyone cheers. "So, I'm officially kicking him out of the Serpents. I will send some of you over to his house to remove of him and his Ghoulie. As for the war, we must prepare. And as for my brother stepping down and getting kicked out of the Serpents. I'm stepping down as your leader." He says and everyone gasps and I look at Jughead with a confused expression and he shared the same one on his face.
FP looks our direction. "Can I have Jughead and Victoria come up?" He asks and we look st each other and we walk up. "Jug what is this." I whisper and he shrugs. "I want Victoria and Jughead to take over our spots. They have proven their loyalty to the Serpents time and time again. Victoria is nothing like her father. She's showed dedication to this gang, and Jughead has fought for the serpent rights at school and protested for Southside not to be shut down. These are what leaders are supposed to look like." FP says looking at us and I smile and Sweets smiles at me. Everyone cheers. "In unity there is strength!" FP yells and everyone yells it back. Jughead looked as happy as I did and we smiled and hugged each other.
After a few minutes everything gets quiet. "Don't look now, but satan himself just walked in." Veronica says and I look over to the direction she was looking. My father. Surprising that Penny wasn't on his arm. He goes up to the stage and speaks. "Look, I know my daughter has mixed fantasies about fighting the Ghoulies. But I'm calling this war off. It's stupid and pointless. She doesn't know what she's doing." Betty and Cheryl watch me get tense. "Victoria, calm down." Betty says. I look at her and shake my head. "I need to shut him up." I say and I walk up. I grab the mic out of his hands. "The war is still going. Your opinion has no meaning being here. Trader." I say and he gives me that fake confused glare. "What are you talking about?" He asks and I laugh. "Everyone knows about you and Penny. FP already made the announcement. And for your leadership? You're not in charge. I took your place, with Jughead ruling behind me. FP retired and we don't have traders run the Serpents." I say with venom laced in my voice. He gives me a sad glare. "Sorry Daddy, should've chose me last night instead of Penny." I say and he shakes his head and goes to grab me but two older Serpents grab him and take him out. He left putting up a fight. "Now, for now. If anyone lets that man in here, you will be exiled. No exceptions." I say and everyone cheers. I smile and get off the stage. "You okay Rory?" Sweet Pea says and I nod. "It hurts to see him upset, but I'm a leader now." I say and he nods. "I'm so proud of you." He says and I smile and kiss him. "I love you Sweets."  I say and he smiles. "I love you too Rory."
Now, I have to figure out a way to maintain school and running a gang.
