that night I went home alone. My dad was home and I was ready for a lecture. I walk in the door. "Victoria, we need to talk." He says with Fp. I roll my eyes. "I'd rather not." I say and my dad yells. "Victoria!" I roll my eye and turn around. "Look, I don't care about anything you say. You lied, my whole life, teaching me how horrible Ghoulies was." I paused and I put my finger up. "Maybe if you would've told me how they killed my mother I wouldn't have dated one in the first place." I say with a sarcastic smirk and he rolls his eyes. "Just listen! We are sorry." "Really sorry." Fp adds and my dad and I give him a look.
"I can't handle you being mad at me.. Can you forgive me?" He asks and I think for a second. I don't want to be in a fight with him and I sigh and shake my head with a sad glare. "Nope, you need to gain my trust in telling me everything, and anything. No matter how top secret anything is. Because you may think you're protecting me but I'd rather know then not know." I say and my dad sighs and FP nods. My dad notices the ring on my finger. "Where did you get that?" He asks and I look down at my finger. "Sweet Pea. It's a promise ring." He says and he nods with a weird smile. "What are you planning?" I ask annoyed and he shrugs. "Nothing. I just didn't think he would give you a promise ring." I give him a dirty confused look and FP knew he messed up. "Who asked you?" I say with a attitude and he starts getting pissed. "FP, you can go." He says not removing his gaze from me. FP nods and leaves and pats my dad on the back.
"I'm your father. I can tell you ring now you will not be marrying a serpent. You will go to college and you will leave this god forsaken town." I laughed at his statement. "You're hilarious. The fact that you think you have any control over my actions is hilarious." I say and he gets even more mad. "I mean, I dated a Ghoulie behind your back for months." I say with a sarcastic smile. "You know what? Get out." He says and I kinda take a double take. "Wait what?" I say and he shakes his head. "You think you can do what you want? Fine. Don't do it under my roof." He says and I scoff. I get my moms stuffed animal. "How could this be your roof when I'm here more than you are." I say with a duh tone and he looks like he got more pissed and I just walked out. I walked over to sunny side and I knocked on Sweet Peas door. He opens it and looks tired. "Did I wake you up?" I ask and he shakes his head. "I was just getting to bed. What's up?" He asks while opening the door so I can walk in. "I just got kicked out for giving my dad a attitude. I'll be living there again in a day." I say and he sighs and nods. "You can stay with me for as long as you need." He says and I smile. "Good to know." He gave me a shirt and boxers and I went to the bathroom and changed into the clothes he gave me. I walk out of his bathroom and he laughs. "What?" I ask and he shrugs while smiling at me. "I forgot how big my clothes are on you." He says and I roll my eyes and jump on his bed and lay down. He cuddles me. "Victoria?" He asks and I look up to him. "What's up Sweets?"  I say and he sighs but smiles. "Can we get back together? I miss being able to call you mine." I look around. I love him. I want to be with him. I trust him still and the promise ring just made me trust him more. I smiled at him. "We can be back together Sweets." I say and he smiles really big. "Wait really?" He says and I nod. "Yes really silly." I say and he squeezes me in a hug and I start giggling. "Sweets our suffocating me." I say laughing and he smiles.
