After the concert Emma and Regina were taken to the hotel. Emma got the key and the girls found there room on the top floor. It was a penthouse sweet since both woman were rich and famous. The hotel was 5 star.

"That was so good" Regina says as she watched her best friend open the door.

"Thank you. It was really hot in there" Emma replied stepping in.

She closed the door and turned to face Regina. The brunette instantly kissed her. Emma was pinned up to the door with Regina kissing her deeply. Emma pushes off the door and switched so Regina was against it. They pulled away and locked eyes.

"What are we doing" Emma asked as she caught her breath.

"I don't know em. I'm having a bloody affair with you and it started the same day I got engaged" Regina sighed as she still kept herself close to Emma's body.

"But what will happen later on" Emma asked curiously as she hid her desperation.

"I don't know. I don't want to talk about this right now. All I want is to be with you right now"

Emma knew she wasn't getting answers. Not now. She leaned back in and kissed Regina again. This time Emma lifted her up so the brunettes legs were rapped around her waist. Emma started walking backwards until she hit a doorframe. She pulled away and walked towards the bedroom. Emma opened the door and that's when Regina looked worried.

"Wait stop" the brunette quickly says.

"What" Emma asked looking at her.

Regina jumped back and walked back towards the lounge of the hotel room. She sat on the sofa thinking about everything. Emma walked over confused.

"Em we can't have sex" Regina says looking down.

"Gina whats wrong" Emma asked as she crouched in front of her.

"Because I'm in love with you" Regina says quickly as she looked up at Emma. The blonde was shocked. Never did she think her feelings were returned so much. "I love you so much it's insane but I know it would never work" Regina was now crying.

"Your in love with me" Emma asked shocked.

"Yes. Why do you think I keep kissing you? When we were leaving for college. All those drunk parties. The night I got engaged. I can't be with you" Regina sobbed feeling her heart break.

She stood to her feet and quickly walked towards the bedroom. Emma followed still shocked. Regina went into the bathroom and locked the door shut.

"Gina open up" Emma says knock. Regina leaned against the door and slid down it still crying. "Please Regina talk to me. You always talk to me about it so come on" Emma knocked again.

"Please em" is all Regina said still sobbing her heart out.

Emma knows what Regina is like. She is a closed book and has a wall of protection. Emma knew she wasn't coming out and wasn't talking until she calmed down. Emma went to her bed and led down since she's tired. Regina sat on the floor silently crying. She's never admitted her feelings for Emma our loud. She never wanted to. Regina knee it would ruin anything they had between them. It broke her heart that she may have ruined everything.

A few hours passed. It's now 11 o'clock in the evening. Regina finally opened the bathroom door and stepped into the bedroom. She saw Emma led down asleep in bed. There was a space already there for her to slip in. She went over and got into bed. Emma had her back to Regina so she had no clue if the blonde was awake.

"Em" Regina whispered in case she's asleep.

"Yeah" Emma whispered back.

"Why you still awake"

"Couldn't sleep"

"Look at me" Regina says as she faced Emma's back. Her best friend rolled over and in the dark they could just about see each other. Regina smiled slightly and moved some of Emma's hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek. "I'm sorry I freaked out. Please forget everything that just happened"

"Ok. I'm sorry I was going to take it too far between us" Emma says looking down.

"No it's ok. I want to" Regina whispered as she leaned towards Emma.

Her lips brushed across the pair in front. They then joined in a kiss that was slow and soft. Emma knew there was no point taking it further. Regina said it herself. It would never work. Emma pulled away and moved forward so Regina was cuddled into her. She then closed her eyes and kissed her head. Regina was a little confused but she understood Emma didn't want to do anything today since what happened. Both woman led there unaware the others awake. Eventually they feel asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning came. Regina woke up and saw Emma was still asleep. She quickly and quietly got out of bed before leaving the room. She has a photo shoot coming up and knows she can't eat. Regina went to her suit case which is still by the door and took it to the sofa.

"Alright what should I wear today" she says looking at her clothes.

Regina picked out a pair of tight light blue jeans that hugged her lower body. She then took out a thin black top that was tight as well. She changed into it before putting her suitcase down by the tv. She wrote a quick note for Emma.

I'm going for breakfast. Meet me down there

Regina then grabbed her phone and left the room. She leaned against the door and thought about last night.

"I need to tell her I love daniel. I can't love her. I know what will happen"
