Chapter Three : Drink and Fight

🌼Y/N'S POV

Daniel Park, that guy became so popular at school and even had accumulated a large number of fangirls over a short period of time, it's only been a few days since he first transfer at our school too. Oh wait, this famous and very handsome transfer student that I was talking about ...

"Are you really sure you're gonna be okay?" He ask me as we walk out of the campus together.

"What do you mean?"

"You just literally hit your toe at the edge of the table earlier." He explained, I did hit my pinky toe earlier and now it still hurts like hell. I got too excited walking out of the room that I ended up hitting my waist on the edge of one table theny toe on the foot of another table.

"Yeah, I'm fine." For me, it was nothing to fuss about but this guy decided to walk me home to make sure I was alright. I didn't dislike the idea of us walking together but the way that the other students are looking at me with jealousy in their eyes, I feel so uncomfortable.

'Geez, people this days be making simple things into something else.'

Just by talking or hanging out with an opposite sex, they would easily think that they are dating. C'mon can't you just think that we're just some good friends or maybe classmates? I let out a small sigh after feeling the gazes of the students who are nearby, they kept whispering to each other and looking at our way.

"Is there something wrong, Y/n?" Daniel ask me

"Nothing, I was just thinking about something."

"But is it me? Or you look a bit annoyed? Did I do something wrong again?" He look at me quite concerned

"What do you mean by "again? I don't remember you doing something wrong."

"Fought with our classmate?"

"That can't be helped, it's either you turn into a punching back or fight back." I replied, ignoring the other students and just mind my own business. It's gonna be my loss if I let their glaring eyes get to me. Daniel look at the people around us and noticed that the source of my discomfort was the fact that we are being watched by some random and unknown students from the same school that we are attending.

"Hey, that guy is handsome."

"She's just pretty, Daniel will find her boring sooner"

"Oh wait, are they a couple already? What a snake. Latching on that new guy"

"They look like a celebrity couple."

"Tsk. She knows who to cling onto to stay relevant."

My journey back home with Daniel was a bit awkward since none us even try to start a conversation at all. We were both too uncomfortable to interact with each other that time or to even do something.
He just closely followed me from behind like I was taking a dog for a walk

"I'm sorry for... I think I made people think badly of you." He stated making me sigh and stop on my track, he seems like he wasn't use to hearing nasty comments from other people.

"It's not your fault, alright?"

"It's because of me, they think and say rude stuff towards you."

"Daniel, it is not your fault. Let's just say some people are just like that." I faced him and look straight into his eyes, assuring him that he didn't do something wrong at all."After all, we can't control how people think of us. Don't think about what they are saying that much, alright?" I smiled and gently pats his shoulder, I then invited him to take a stop at the convenience store before heading home.
