Henry Russo.
"Why don't we stay in today?" Olivia said as we reached her house.
"Are you sure? You don't have any plans with Chase?" I asked.
"Trust me. Me and him are done," she assured.
I felt my stomach turn at the thought. As much as I didn't want Olivia to be with Chase, I didn't want Chase spreading rumors about me either.
"Really? I kind of thought you two were always soulmates," I said as we headed to the kitchen to raid the fridge and pantry.
"Okay. Who are you and what have you done with my best friend?" Olivia asked as she stopped the pantry raid.
"What do you mean?"
"What's going on, Char? You hate Chase."
"I-I don't know.. I just think there's still hope for you guys. Two years is a lot to just throw away."
"He cheated on me. Multiple times I might add."
I simply nodded, leaving the conversation at that. I didn't want to get in a big argument with Olivia on why I supported Chase's infidelity.
"Ramen?" I said, pulling out a package of beef ramen noodles for me and chicken for Olivia.
I heated up the noodles on the stove as Olivia surfed through channels to find a movie. This was practically everything we did anytime we spent time together, except when Olivia would convince me to engage in her rebellious activities.
"So how are you and Brett?" She asked after finally deciding on a Hunger Games marathon.
"Okay I guess," I stopped to slurp up a noodle. "I didn't see him today." I was hesitant to bring up Chase again, so I continued to let her ask me more questions.
"Have you guys done it yet?" She asked.
"Woah tiger, I just started dating him," I laughed. "Besides, I want to take it slow. And I want my first time to be special. I'm not even sure if Brett's the one."
"Fair enough."
We couldn't go through a five minute scene without Olivia talking.
"You know if I could marry Jennifer Lawrence, I totally would."
"Yeah, same," I laughed.
"Totally my girl celebrity crush. After you, of course," she laughed. As sarcastic and cheesy as it was, I couldn't help but blush at the comment.
And there I was again, admiring Olivia's smile as she admired Jennifer Lawrence. Her legs were propped on my lap as we sat on the couch.
"What's up?" She finally said after noticing my stare.
"Nothing. Just bored," I said instantaneously.
"Bored?! These are the greatest movies of all time." I shrugged my shoulders.
