                                                              AHKMENRAH'S POV

My beautiful little desert flower looked radiant tonight dancing with her family and the Huns. How could he do this? She was everything could ever want! My feelings for her nudged me forward, but my head told me, 'No. It would just make it worse.' She smiled in my direction. And I returned the smile with earnestness. 'A little smile wouldn't hurt would it?', I was hopeful, but my heart was hopeful for something else. I really wanted my little desert flower to be with me....forever. I wouldn't ask her of that though. For her to leave her family and stay in the museum. It sounded crazy. I couldn't understand why I was thinking unclearly. I got on my dj booth, and began to play some different music. I played a song that Larry showed me, called 'Thriller'. Apparently Larry had said that it was an appropriate song for the occasion. Tori and her family were dancing to the song and laughing together. It was a picture of perfection. She never missed a step.

When the song was finished, they all (as Larry would put it) 'striked a pose.'  They all were laughing and singing to a couple of songs that I played, and then my desert flower came up to my booth, to I suppose request a song. I motioned for her to join me at my booth. She shyly climbed up and said, 'Hey.' with a smile which I returned. She requested a song by a songstress named 'Katy Perry' called 'Dark Horse'. She asked for me to watch the music video with her while the music played. It was ancient Egyptian themed. I smiled at her, and danced to the rhythm. That made her blush profusely, which made me smile wider. When the song song was almost over, I whispered in her ear, " Once you're mine. There's no going back." Which was completely worth it because she turned the deepest shade of red like the sunset in the desert sky. I smiled to myself. Yes. Totally worth it. Then there were a couple of slow songs, and Tori and I danced to them as Jed and Octavious took over. Then I found myself asking Tori if she accompany me to the roof. She looked puzzled and agreed anyways.

Once we were on the roof, I told her that the stars were more visible from here. She agreed. "Won't we get in trouble for being up here?", Tori asked. "No. I have special permission from Larry.", I tried to sound confident in the lie which she caught wind of and snorted. "Oh yeah. Right", she laughed. A stray hair fell in her face, but I caught it and tucked it behind her ear. She looked a little startled a the gesture, then her eyes softened. "Ahk, why won't you tell me your real name?", she looked like it took a whole lot of confidence to say that sentence. I looked down to my feet and then looked out to the city. "It's ok. It's just...everyone around here takes their job so seriously. I guess you'd get in trouble if you told someone your real name but we're up here. Away from everyone else. I guess I was hoping....", she trailed off. I really wanted to tell her the truth, and the lie was getting harder and harder to tell. "It's ok, Ahk if you don't like me that much. I'll understand.", she said as she pulled away from me.

But I grabbed her arm, " Victoria. It's not that I don't..... I have these secrets to keep in order to keep everyone..... I....the truth is....I'm trying very hard not to kiss you right now." The words stumbled out of my mouth as I gazed into her eyes. The next thing I knew, my lips were on hers. I placed a innocent gentle kiss onto her soft lips. I could tell she was shocked, but she gave way to the kiss, and came a bit closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close. We could've been kissing up on the roof for an hour, but I didn't mind. I could tell that neither did she. We sadly broke the kiss slowly, then I kept placing short soft kisses upon her lips. It was impossible to stop. But we eventually did. I held her at arms length and looked at her stunned face, and smiled. Just then Larry came through the door, "Uh, hey. Am I interrupting anything?" "No. It is fine Larry. We were just heading back.", I said as I grabbed Victoria's hand and lead her to the roof door.

After a couple of songs, she requested other songs that were very catchy. We danced at my booth, and laughing together at the Huns trying to breakdance. It was a fun night so far. Then something happened. Something that wasn't right. Time stopped. Quite literally. Larry, Nicky, Atilla, Teddy, Sacajawea, Octavious, Jed, Dexter, Laa, Tori and I were the only ones moving. Tori and I looked at each other. Something wasn't right. I helped Tori down from the booth, and we confronted Larry. "Larry. What has happened?", I asked him. "I....um..I'm not sure.", he said with a frown on his face. If  Larry didn't know what to do, I didn't know what our fates may be. I was slightly thankful that Victoria was here with me. Even if time was frozen. Then that would mean. She would have to know. I blushed slightly at the thought of telling her the truth, knowing I had lied to her earlier. Even if it was to keep my kingdom safe.

"Hey Gigantor, why are we the only ones unfrozen?", Jed asked Larry. "I...I don't know, Jed. I'm hoping Dr. McPhee is unfrozen. Maybe he could help, but I am not sure." "Lawrence, this problem could be unstable, but if anyone could get us out of this situation, it would be you.", Teddy said to Larry. We all followed Larry to Dr. McPhee's office. I could tell that Tori had a lot of questions. She looked at me with a worried expression. "Whatever happens, I shall keep you safe.", I whispered in the shell of her ear as we stopped at the door. She was blushing and nodding at me. The worried expression still graced her features, and I grabbed a hold of her hand and squeezed it gently to reassure her. Larry opened the door to Dr. McPhee's office, only to find Dr. McPhee frozen in place yelling at the phone. "Oh! You've got to be kidding me!! Well, that's real helpful!", Larry lost his temper for a split second and yelled.

"Dad. Look at this.", Nicky pointed to a file on the desk,"Did the museum just get a new exhibit?" Larry looked at the file, and nodded, "We need to go to the fourth floor."
