Awakening

                                                                    TORI'S POV

  I woke up in a sarcophagus! A freaking sarcophagus!!I screamed, "HELP!! PLEASE!! SOMEBODY!!" Banging on the lid of the sarcophagus. I must have been begging for an hour, cause no one showed up yet. Then I thought that no one would ever show up. It all seemed hopeless. Pointless. Me coming back to life. Then I heard someone or something come into the room(if that's what it was.). Suddenly I heard a monkey's cute little sounds. "DEXTER!!! DEXTER, I'M IN HERE!!!", I shouted. I heard him moving around the sarcophagus I was in, and then nothing. 'He must've unlocked my sarcophagus.', I thought. I pushed open the lid of my sarcophagus, and sat up. "I'm free.", I breathed. Dexter smiled and made kissy faces at me. 'He is so stinking adorable!!', I thought. "Come here sweetie!!", I cooed at him. He did, and I pet and cooed and cuddled him. "Thank you so much, cutie", I told him,"Can you show me where the others are?" He jumped off and waited for me to get out of my sarcophagus. I walked behind a pillar to carefully take off my wrappings. I had on my outfit from the afterlife. 'How did that happen?', I thought. I shook my head and walked back from behind the pillar to place my wrappings inside my sarcophagus and follow Dexter out of the exhibit. My questions would have to wait until later. 

                                                                THIRD PERSON POV

  Ahkmenrah, and his brother were fighting to the death, while the others looked for the sands of time. They stumbled upon Ammunet and Imhotep. They were just the putting on their shoes after long time of pleasure. Imhotep looked at the group with a smirk,"Right on time." Ammunet smirked as well and walked up to the group looking all menacing like a lioness, "Where's Ahkmenrah, and his little girlfriend?" Larry was angry, but remained calm,"Whatever you're planning on doing, it's not going to work. We have the tablet, and the sands of time. You have no leverage." "Actually we do.", Ammunet said as Imhotep walked away. "As you were out searching for the sands of time, we managed to find one of your friends.", Ammunet said with a smirk,"It was so easy too! Your friend really likes fire. It was easy to lure him here with it." Imhotep dragged La into the room in chains. He looked up at Larry with a sad look in his eyes, "DA." Larry quietly sighed and looked at Ammunet with a frustrated look in his eyes. "OK. Yeah, we'll give you both the tablet and the sands of time if you hand over La.", Larry glared at her. "I would happily hand him over.", Ammunet said with a smile and motioned for Imhotep to hand over La. "This is not what we discussed!", Imhotep whisper/shouted in her direction,"WE WILL TAKE ALL!" 

  "We will never surrender!", Octavious shouted from the ground startling the two Egyptians. "Do you want to know what happened between you and your brother?", Imhotep snickered in Ahkmenrah's direction. "My brother murdered me for the throne, and he also murdered the woman I loved.", Ahkmenrah yelled in anguish at Imhotep,"He never cared about anyone but himself! He was always jealous of me, and all I ever wanted was for us to be brothers!" "Hmmm. Yes it seems that fate has not been too kind with you. Allow me to reveal the truth before we kill you.", Imhotep went on,"Darling?" Ammunet walked up to Ahkmenrah seductively, and whispered in his ear,"I killed your mother. Then I helped Imhotep kill your father, but the real truth of it all, was the jealousy and greed spell I cast on your brother. For years I had perfected the spell, and for years it had stayed strong. Your brother was nothing but an instrument in our plans to take over the kingdom, but he saw through our lies. He actually was a worthy adversary. And now he's our instrument once again. After he's done his job, we'll kill him, but it will be a fast, painless death. Not much like yours." "You cursed my brother?", Ahkmenrah was astonished. Larry put a hand on Ahkmenrah's shoulder, and gave him a knowing look. Ammunet slinked back to Imhotep with a malicious smirk on her face. "You will never get away with this! What you have done to my brother, will not be forgiven! You will pay for your treason!", Ahkmenrah lifted his sword at her in anger. Then a horrible battle broke out amongst the group and the two Egyptians.
