Chapter 9: Tough Love

Eventually everyone ended up crossing paths. They all found each other in the center of the building. "We found out where they are and what they're planning." Storm said, while assisting his younger sister in standing up. Everyone looked worried at the sight of a weak Sylvia. Expect Nova who didn't seem to worry very much at all.

"Sylvia's fine." Sylvia reassured. "You sure? You don't need any help?" Luke asked, still worried.

"No time to worry about Sylvia!" Sylvia exclaimed, trying to get everyone to stop worrying. "She's right. We better hurry. Where is this all going down?" Nova asked.

"Magnolia." Kurai bi answered. "What is she doing with us?" Reiki looked prepared to fight. "She's on our side, she's the one who told us when and where everything is happening." Gale explained. "And we're just suppose to trust her?" Rosemary chimed in. "Well shes the only lead we have, so the way I see it, we don't really have a choice." Gale spoke. Everyone looked at each other and nodded. "Fine. Let's head to Magnolia, you can tell us everything in detail on the way there."

Magnolia

The team finally arrived in Magnolia.
"I don't see any akuma's yet." Gale said. "Uh guys. Look up." Rin spoke. Above them flying in the sky was a giant ship. "You forgot to mention a flying ship!" Rin exclaimed at Kurai bi. "Yeah. A small detail I forgot." Kurai bi admitted. "Small? That ship is huge!" Luke said.

"Just looking at it makes me nauseous." Nashi said, looking as if she was about to barf.

"We must get on that ship." Reiki said. Everyone except Nashi agreed. "Um, are we sure that's such a smart idea." Nashi spoke up. "Question is, how?" Rosemary asked, completely ignoring Nashi.

"Plum could fly us!" Rin said. "I can only fly, maybe, two people at a time." Plum said. "That's fine. we need an order of which we'll go in." Reiki said. "Strongest people up first." Reiki added.

"Reiki and Nova it is." Plum said, grabbing onto them both. "Hey!" Nashi exclaimed, offended.

"I'll be back!" She said, flying up to the ship.

Plum placed them on the back of the ship, in a hidden spot. "I'm gonna get the others." Plum whispered. The blonde and the red head nodded. She flew back down.

"Who's next?" She asked. "Storm and I." Nashi said.

"Luke, Rin, stay down here with Sylvia please." Storm said. "No." Sylvia spoke. "But-." Sylvia cut him off. "Sylvia's fine. She can fight." She reassured. "Unison raid and shot by a magic gun. You need to rest." Storm argued. "Sylvia said- she's fighting!" Sylvia argued.

Storm was about to continue the argument, but Nashi made her was to Sylvia. She took her fist, and punched her right in the gut. Knocking the bluenette out cold.

Tough love.

"What the hell, Nash!" Luke said.

"She needs to rest. Fighting will only bring her more harm. Take her back to the guild, she needs treatment for her wound, okay?" Nashi explained her actions.

Luke and Rin looked over at one another. Then back at Nashi, they nodded.

They headed towards the guild.

Plum took Storm and Nashi aboard the ship.

He then came back down to get Gale and Kurai bi. Everyone was now on the back of the flying ship, crouched down behind a wall of pillars.

"I told you this was a bad idea." Nashi said, wanting to barf. Her stomach was churning. Almost as if it were yelling at her. Storm was just patting her back.

"When we get to fight, Plum will fly you around instead." Storm said.
"When will that be?" Nashi asked, between gags. "Soon. But, right now we can't make our presence known." Storm said.

Nashi stood up rather quickly. "Of course! I am ninja!" Nashi exclaimed. But, that was short lived as the ship started to rock. She stumbled forward into a center of akuma's.

"Oh, hi there." Nashi said, once again trying to hold back her vomit.

Storm face palmed.

"Well, you fairies are very persistent." The white haired lady spoke. "No need to hide any longer, come on out." She said.

The rest of the guild stood from there hiding spot.

Her eyes trailed the young mages until they landed on a certain black haired beauty.

She faked a gasp. "My own daughter! My own flesh and blood! Betrayal." She exclaimed.

"What you're doing isn't right mother. Why waste time on demons and world domination when we could be happy, we could be a family." Kurai bi spoke.

This only caused the mage to laugh.

"A family? Families are for the weak, strong people seek power, and then they obtain it." She argued. "Although it is unfortunate that I must kill my daughter now. You had a choice. You chose the wrong one. Your fault." She said.

"I can't believe," Nashi started. "You'd kill you're own family, for power." She ended. She slowly started to get on her feet. "That's sickening, that's unforgivable." Nashi said.

"I'd rather be sick, then a weak little imbecile who can't seem to hold their lunch on a ship." Joō Aku no said.

"You wanna see weak? Look in the mirror. Your only goal in life is to upstage others. You've never felt real pain. You've never had to. You don't know what it takes to be strong, or brave. Which just shows how weak you truly are." Nashi ranted.

"You dare call me weak?" She was clearly offended. "You little-." She started.

"Shut up!" Nashi yelled, lighting her fist and punching her straight in the face.

An impressive punch for someone who had motion sickness.

But it didn't last very long.

Nashi fell over, her stomach didn't like the idea of standing up very much. Plum swooped in and hovered Nashi over the boat. "Thanks buddy!" Nashi said, somewhat feeling better. Plum smiled.

Joō Aku no stood up. "If it's a fight you're looking for, it's a fight you'll get." She spoke, angered.

Suddenly a small group of people walked in, behind Joō Aku no.

"Let's do this! I'm all fired up now!" Nashi said, slamming her fist into her palm.
