It was after school, and Cass was in the Art Classroom. She was practicing her scaling for one of her art pieces, but just by the look on her face, you could tell she was frustrated. She wanted to yell, but at the same time cry. Cass gets up from her seat, letting out a sigh. She looks over at the window, realizing that dark clouds were all over the area. She walked slowly over to the door, looking outside before opening the door. After opening the door, the first thing Cass felt was a little chill, giving her goosebumps. She continues on her way out, without a jacket. Looking up at the sky, a single raindrop heads down, right above Cass.
"Cass! Cass!" A yell coming from not so far away is heard. Cass looks around, realizing it's a boy in the distance. It was one of Cass' old friends, Lucas. He runs towards Cass, and Cass, waiting for him.
"Hey, Cassie," He says, giving her a hug and pat on the back. "Why are you staying after school?"
"Oh, I'm just, uh, practicing my drawing skills," Cass responded, a little nervous due to the fact that it was strange that Lucas hugged her. The raindrop finally hit Cass' head, making her look up.
"Is it going to rain?" Cass asked herself. "If so, we better get inside."
Strangely enough, Lucas opened the door to the Vocational Building, which was where the Art Room was part of. He waits for Cass to enter the room, and as soon as she enters, he enters as well.
"So what do you want to do, Lucas? We have this whole classroom to ourselves for the next two hours." Cass asked, with a kind of cheery mood.
"Ummm..." Lucas looked over at the clock, realizing it was just barely 4 o'clock, "I don't know, I mean- we can do whatever you want to do."
Cass gave a little smirk, she didn't think someone like her should have this much power. She stood thinking for a moment, but then sat down. Lucas joined her, waiting for a response.
"I think we should-" Cass says, before getting interrupted by thunder. Then, suddenly, you could hear from above, all the raindrops hitting the ceiling. The noise made it sound like an audience was clapping.
"I- I... I really would like to get know you more Lucas." Cass said, in a shy voice, it was almost like she was afraid to say it.
"I would like to get to know you more too," Lucas replied, giving a slight smile.
