"Rise and Shine lazy ass!" Cass' mom shouted from right outside her door. Cass stretched and rubbed her eyes, groaning. She got off her bed and slipped on her sandals. Her hair was all over the place, but luckily she was about to shower. She walked over to the bathroom and turned the faucet to the shower. She began undressing while the steam from the shower began to fog up the mirrors. Once she finished, she looked in the mirror and saw that the mirrors had reached the point where she could only see her face. She put one foot into the shower but quickly took it back out because it was boiling hot. She turned the cold water faucet and waited a minute or two. She put her foot back into the shower to check the temperature of the water, only to find out that it was just right. She entered the shower and did whatever she needed to do.

She got out of the shower, put on a robe, a towel on her hair, and brushed her teeth. She then proceeded to exit out of the bathroom and into her room. She continued to dry herself up in the privacy of her own room. Cass didn't really care if people saw her wearing a childish shirt, so she picked out one of her Pokemon shirts and some jeans. Cass' mom took forever to get ready though, so Cass spent like an hour texting Ramon about what happened between her and Lucas.

"OMG, YOU KISSED HIM???" Ramon asked through text.

"Yes lol" Cass replied.

"You son of a bitch was it on the lips???" Ramon wondered.

"No! I'm too scared to do that 😂" Cass answered.

"I bet you think about it tho haha" Ramon texted.

"Riiiiiiiight" Cass responded.

"Dude, pero debes de tener cuidado, be careful. AND YOU DO NOT WANNA RUN INTO ANYONE" Ramon warned Cass.

"Why not? I told Kaili to invite you to the mall too lol" Cass explained.

"Ohhh, no wonder she asked me to the mall," Ramon said.

"What did you say?" Cass asked.

"I told her we could do more than just that 😏😉🍆💦🍑" Ramon answered, "Jk jk, I told her sure."

"Wow lmao," Cass said.

Cass looked up from her phone to see her mom ready.

"Come on, let's go, Cassie," Cass' mom said. Cass stood up straight from leaning against the wall. She stepped out the front door with her mom behind her. She went up to the passenger side of the car, waiting for her to unlock it. She unlocked the car and waited for Cass to enter before driving out of the property. On the way to the to Kohl's, they had listened to songs by Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots, and Shawn Mendes. They had passed a Hot Topic store and Cass just stared and looked at her mom.

"Mom, you passed Hot Topic," Cass said in a worried voice.

"Oh no, sweetie, you're getting some attractive clothes," her mom said.

Cass rolled down the window and yelled: "Help, I'm being kidnapped!"

Cass' mom quickly rolled up the window and asked, "Oh my God, Cass, why would you do that?"

"Because I don't want to wear something nice like a dress, I want to be casual," Cass complained.

"Would you rather look Casual or Sexy on your first date?" Her mom asked.

"I'd rather look casual because, for example, if you try fancy toilet paper, it'll ruin all toilet paper forever," Cass explained.

"You got that from that one Hulu commercial!" Cass' mom exclaimed.

"Maybeee" Cass said, smiling with her teeth.

"Welp we're here," Cass' mom said, turning off the car and stepping out of the vehicle. Cass groaned and stepped out of the car, barely realizing that they were at Kohls.

"Why here out of all places?" Cass asked her mom.

"Because they have nice clothes," Her mom said while holding the door open for Cass to enter. They browsed for a good hour and a half, in search of the best outfit. Eventually, they did. It was a jade dress, the same color as Cass' eyes. They headed straight to the fitting rooms and changed into the new dress.

"Hurry, we've been here for the longest time already!" Her mom shouted from the other side of the door.

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Cass' yelled back.

Cass finally managed to put the darn thing on, and she loved it. It wasn't too long, nor was it too tight. She had never felt so comfortable in a dress.

"Oh my God, Cass..." Cass' mom said.

"What?" Cass asked in a worried tone.

"You look amazing!" She shouted.

Cass took it off, and she and her mom headed straight to the cash register.

"$32.99, not bad." Cass' mom said. Her mom paid and Cass got the bag with her new dress, so they could finally go home and get ready for Cass' important date.
