Cass and her mom had gotten back home after going to Kohls and getting the perfect dress. They both stepped out of the car in sync, entering the house.

"Okay, so I need you to put on your dress and some shoes so I can do your hair and makeup," Cass' mom said.

"Wait, what?" Cass said in confusion

"I said you need to go put on your dress and some shoes so that I can do your hair and makeup," Her mom repeated.

"Ew, I don't want to wear makeup, I'm like 2," Cass said.

"Aren't you trying to impress him, though?" Her mom asked.

"Yeah but I want him to see me, the real me," Cass said.

"Okayyy, I guess we'll just be doing your hair then," Cass' mom said.

"Thank you," Cass said, flipping her hair, as a joke of course. Her mom slightly laughed. Cass hurried to get ready as she only had two hours left before her date. Cass put on her jade dress and some shoes that fit with it. She looked at herself in the mirror, slightly feeling insecure. But to hell with that feeling, because Cass just cared about being able to see Lucas.

While on the way to her mom's room, her dad asked, "Why are dressed so nicely?"

"Oh, um... I'm just going out with friends," Cass said, which was the first thing to come to mind at the moment. She thought it was such a stupid excuse that he probably wouldn't even fall for it.

"Oh, cool, where you guys going?" Her dad asked.

"To the cinema," Cass answered.

"Nice," He replied. Cass continued on her way to her mom's room. She walked in and her mother gasped at the sight of her.

"When did you start to look so beautiful?" She asked, putting her hair behind her ear, "Okay, so come to the bathroom so I can curl your hair."

Cass did as she was told, "You're really going to curl my hair?"

"Yeah, you'll look even more gorgeous than you already do," She responded.

"Okay then," Cass obliged.

Cass' mom took around 30 minutes to make Cass' hair to near perfection, just in time to leave to go pick up Ramon and Kaili. Cass was ordered by her mother to go say bye to her dad and to ask for at least $20 for the movies, and of course, he did. Cass and her mom both left the house and got in the car. They listened to Shawn Mendes all the way to Ramon's house. Once they got there, Cass texted Ramon that they were waiting outside for him. Ramon came out of his house with a $50 bill in his hands, showing it off to Cass. But suddenly, a strong wind came and blew it away from his hands. From what Cass saw, it seemed as if Ramon shouted "Oh fuck", which made her slightly chuckle. Ramon chased for the bill, barely able to catch it before it made it over the fence and into the street. Ramon put the $50 in this pocket, then headed straight to the car. He sat in the backseat because Cass was in the front with her mom.

"Hello, Ramon," Cass' mom said.

"Hey, Mrs. Wiley," Ramon replied, in a polite manner.

"How are you doing?" She asked.

"Good, and yourself?" Ramon responded.

"I'm doing good myself," She said. Cass looked over at Ramon and gave him her phone, which had full control over all the music that played in the car. Ramon mouthed a "thank you" to Cass. The first song to come up was "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. They then headed for Kaili's house, which wasn't that far from Ramon's home.

All the way to Kaili's house, Ramon was yelling, "I'M OFF THE DEEP END WATCH AS I DIVE IN I'LL NEVER MEET THE GROUND, CRASH THE THROUGH SURFACE, WHERE THEY CAN'T HURT US, WE'RE FAR FROM THE SHALLOW NOW" Once they got to Kaili's house, Ramon stopped and looked outside to see Kaili. Kaili didn't wear anything special, which is how Cass would've preferred to go as, but Ramon was still happy to see her. Ramon got out of the car to go and hug Kaili, and he held the door to the car open for her.

"M'lady," Ramon said in a southern accent, just being goofy with Kaili. Kaili giggled and got in the car, and Ramon followed afterward. Ramon played "Is That Alright?" by Lady Gaga as soon as the car started. He began lip-synching to the song, being all dramatic about it. Kaili would just smile and giggle, not knowing what to say. After a couple more minutes on the road, they finally had gotten to the Cinema at the mall.

"Welp, I guess this is where you guys get off," Cass' mom said. Everyone except Mrs. Wiley got out of the car and waved goodbye to her as she drove off. Kaili and Ramon stuck together, while Cass was in front of them. Cass was looking at her feet while walking, but as soon as she looked up, she saw Lucas at the entrance. She smiled ear to ear, she had never been so happy before.
