"What do you want to know about me? I mean- I can be a really boring person at times." Cass wondered, thinking about the possibilities. Lucas looked at Cass in the eyes, but every now in then, you could tell that he would stare at Cass' lips.
"You're just a really interesting person to me, even if I've known you for the longest time, I always want to know more about you. It's like that one song that goes like, "Nothing you say wouldn't interest me, all of your words are like poems to me." Lucas explained. You could tell just by his voice he was scared to say it. From hearing Lucas say that about her, Cass would blush a light pink. Lucas noticed and he a mouthed an "I'm sorry" afraid that he made her uncomfortable.
"It's okay, I find you interesting too, Lucas." She'd respond, with a full-on smile, showing forgiveness. Lucas got up from his chair and got on the teacher's chair, which had cushions that made it comfortable, unlike the other chairs. Cass decided to stay on her chair but moved closer to Lucas.
Thunder could still be heard from outside, but the noise from the raindrops hitting the ceiling faded, mostly because Cass and Lucas were focused on... other things. Except, from all that noise they heard people outside. Cass was the first to hear, so naturally, she got up to see who it was.
"Oh my God, what are Ramon and Kanna doing outside in the rain?" Cass asked herself out loud to get Lucas' attention. Of course, Lucas got up from his seat, adjusting his jacket. Lucas looked out the window to see Ramon and Kanna jumping on puddles.
"What the-" Lucas said until he was interrupted by Cass opening the door. Lucas pulled Cass back, holding open the door but making sure she doesn't get wet or cold.
"Careful, you might catch a cold," Lucas said, worried about Cass. Cass was a little confused, wondering why Lucas just suddenly cares so much about her. Although, she did just let it slide.
"Hey! Kanna! Ramon! Come inside!" Lucas yelled at the two, who were still jumping in puddles. Kanna and Ramon looked up, to see Lucas waving at them. They started walking slowly, but Kanna realized that Ramon was a bit far in front of her, so she ran to catch up to him.
"Oh shit!" Kanna wailed, as she slipped on her way to catch up to Ramon. Ramon looked back, to see Kanna on the ground, face covered in mud. The sight of this made Ramon burst out in laughter.
"Pffft- Kanna are you okay?" Ramon asked while helping Kanna up, trying to keep a straight face so he doesn't drop her.
"I'm alright, just hurry up so we can get over there already..." Kanna said, the poor thing, just by the sound of her voice, you could tell he was extremely embarrassed and felt like crying. Kanna and Ramon got to the Vocational Building in a couple more seconds, and by that time, the water from the rain had already washed away all the mud from Kanna's face.
"Oh my God, are you guys okay?" Cass asked, worried if Kanna had scrapped her knee or something. Kanna and Ramon took off their jackets and went towards Cass. Lucas closed the door after making sure if anyone else was outside.
"Yeah, we're okay," Ramon said, shivering from the cold. Kanna was shivering so much and looked devastated and, not to mention, embarrassed. She tried hiding her face by hugging Ramon. Ramon, being surprised by Kanna hugging him, he hesitated to hug back, but as soon as he did, he used the top of her head as a headrest.
"Lucas, I'm cold..." Cass said, regretting that she hadn't brought her own jacket.
Lucas took off his jacket and gave it to Cass. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't wet.Ramon looked over at Cass and Lucas, still holding on to Kanna and said, "Sind sie verliebt?"
Kanna looked up at Ramon and said, "Dude, you do realize I don't speak French, right?"
"It's not French, it's German- and I'm talking about liebe, which is love. They're in love. God, you're so short though." Ramon whispered to Kanna, trying to make sure Lucas and Cass wouldn't hear.
Kanna slapped Ramon and stopped hugging him, "Meanie," Kanna said, "And you're right, they might be in love."
Cass looked around the room for something after getting Lucas' jacket, "Oh, maybe we can play this, I mean- we do still have 1 hour and 46 minutes til me have to go home." Cass said, after picking up a box of Monopoly.
"I call dog!" Ramon Shouted.
"What is Monopoly doing in the Art Classroom?" Kanna asked herself.
"You all are going to get wrecked," Lucas said, trying to sound cool. Ramon shook his head in disappointment.
