"Aw c'mon Eds, you know it'll be fun," Richie cooed, gesturing to the rollercoaster in front of him.
"You have to wait an hour after eating before going on rollercoasters, Rich!" Eddie scolded, pointing to the cotton candy in his left hand.
"Eds we aren't just going to wait around for an hour at an amusement park. This is a date! Have fun, darling," Richie held his hands in the air, being awfully dramatic.
"Stan and Bill are smart! They know their limits," Eddie scoffed and pointed behind him, to where Bill and Stan were on the children's bumper car ride.
"Eddie, my love, even if you vomit, I promise i'll still love you unconditionally," Richie pressed his hand to his heart dramatically, talking in a terrible French accent.
"You can't make me go on that ride!" Eddie said, crossing his arms stubbornly.
Richie sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "Hard way it is then," He mumbled under his breath as he approached Eddie swiftly. Eddie yelped as Richie quickly took Eddie into his arms bridal style and carried him to the line for the coaster. Eddie pouted, but stayed in Richie's arms, knowing that either way, he would've been guilt tripped into going or forced one way or another. Richie then caught up with the line, noticing they were a few groups away from actually having their turn. Richie looked down at Eddie in his arms and smirked. "Having fun?" Richie teased, watching as Eddie scowled at him angrily.
Eddie didn't answer, instead he just turned his head to hide himself in Richie's chest. "I was gonna put you down, but since you're getting comfy-" Richie chuckled.
"You need to learn your lesson, I'm not getting down," Eddie mumbled against Richie's sweatshirt.
"Sweetheart, this isn't a punishment, you're as light as a feather," Richie laughed, noticing how they were drawing more and more attention by the second.
He heard awkward coughing from each direction, but Tozier didn't give a shit. They could go fuck themselves if they had shit to say. The pair waited in line for about 20 minutes until it was finally their turn. Eddie and Richie stepped into the backseats of the coaster, due to Richie explaining that the back seat "went the fastest." Richie buckled himself and then checked Eddie's, despite his protest.
When the rollercoaster took off, the only thought that popped into Eddie Kaspbrak's head was, "I'm going to fucking die."
He was right.
The stinging air slapped his face at every twist and turn, causing his stomach to scream in protest and flip multiple times. His eyes were squeezed shut the entire time, due to the pain of the wind force whenever he reopened them. His tiny hand was holding Richie's tightly, his nails digging into Tozier's skin. He clutched the side of the coaster so far that by the time the cart came screeching to a stop, his knuckles and finger tips were almost purple from the tight grip.

"That was the worst," Eddie scowled at Richie.
Richie grinned and shook his head, his curls wild from the wind. "I had fun," Richie shrugged, smiling wide.
"That makes one of us," Eddie pouted.
"You're just a brat tonight, aren't you?" Richie chuckled playfully, wrapping his arm around Eddie's shoulders to hold him close.
"Am not," Eddie rolled his eyes.
Richie suddenly leaned down and whispered into Eddie's ear, "Do you need a punishment?"
Eddie gulped and shook his head, causing Richie to grin and ruffle his hair. "I'm just kiddin', princess," He cooed.
"I hate that nickname," Eddie said. Eddie loved that nickname.
"Look Eds! Carnival games!" Richie yipped with glee, pulling them both towards the body lit booths.
Eddie giggled at Richie's reaction and followed him to a game. Richie gave the booth leader a five dollar bill and received five balls. "Rich, that's really expensive," Eddie said, taking two balls that Richie handed him.
"Just let me do nice things," Richie whined, handing him a third ball.
Eddie sighed but aimed at the plates at the back of the booth that were nicely set up on a shelf. Eddie threw the first ball and missed, sighing. "S'alright, Eddio, just try again," Richie said, setting his hands on Eddie's shoulders, massaging gently.
Eddie squinted and eyed the plates, throwing the second ball right in the middle of the set up. A loud crash erupted as the plate broke, splinters of glass falling to the floor. "Nice," Richie pressed a quick kiss to the back of his head. Eddie grinned in victory and finished off the rest of the balls, hitting two more plates. "That's three! You earned a prize," The booth leader chirped, showing Eddie the election of fluffy stuffed animals.
"Which one do you want?" Eddie asked Richie.
"It's your prize, Eddio, get what you want," Richie grinned.
"Just let me do nice things," Eddie mimicked, sticking out his tongue.
"Fine," Richie rolled his eyes but smiled playfully, "The raccoon."
Eddie turned to the person behind the booth, "You heard him."
_
"It's so fluffy," Richie grinned, holding onto his large raccoon stuffed animal.
Eddie laughed, watching in adoration as the kid side of Richie peaked through his exterior. Richie Tozier deserved happiness, and Eddie Kaspbrak was determined to give it to him.
"Thanks, Eds," Richie smiled, looking at Eddie with his amused eyes.
"No problem, Rich."
_
"Did you two have fun?" Stanley asked, his arm around Bill.
"Of course," Richie grinned.
"What should we do now? The park doesn't close for another hour or so," Bill questioned.
Eddie shrugged, "We could go on more rides."
"No, I'm way too nauseous," Richie replied, his poor food choices catching up with him.
"Then what?" Eddie asked.
"Do we want to just go home?" Stan asked.
"So you guys can keep us up all night with your noises, no fucking thanks," Richie scoffed, holding onto his raccoon tighter.
Bill immediately went red in the face and whisper-shouted to Richie, "Shut the fuck up! We're in public."
"Oh really? I had no idea," Richie responded sarcastically.
"Rich, cut it out," Eddie shushed, elbowing his side gently.
