Just a quick note to let you know that Kara does not know any of the other Kryptonians are still alive on the space rock used to defeat Reign. As far as she knows her and Cal are really the only left of their race. That would create so many plot holes and whatnot but shush.

Alex's POV

Kara called me freaking out. I didn't understand why and I couldn't get her to listen to me. I tried everything I could think of and still, she wasn't able to tell me what was going on. My last resort was to ask for help from her best friend. I knew she wouldn't really want Lena to hear or see her in whatever state she was in but I didn't care. I needed her to calm down and explain.

Whilst Lena was trying to steady her breathing I worked on tracking the call. It led to the Catco building but it wasn't moving, at all. I beckoned Lena over to look and she seemed just as confused as I was. The two of us had no idea what was going on. Just a few minutes ago I was trying to find a way for Supergirl to fight crime without having to reveal who she really was. I wasn't having much luck and now I was faced with a new problem.

Kara hadn't long been back from her trip with her cousin and she seemed off. I knew the whole not allowed to save people with my help thing was getting to her but it was possibly her new future. She needed to get used to it. Recently it had kinda gotten her into some trouble though. There was somehow another attack with kryptonite or whatever and it stripped Supergirl of her powers. It was nothing that hadn't happened before but it did leave her open to a possible attack. That's one of the reasons I was so worried she was freaking out. She was just a fragile old human at this point.

I checked the police radios and any kind of forces' radios, I soon found out the problem. The elevators had all broken down at once, luckily all but one of them seemed to be empty. Lucky for my sister she seemed to be the only one caught somehow. Kara was claustrophobic. We'd figured that out when the psycho bank robber came to town. She wasn't really having much luck at the moment. On the other hand, when I checked back with Lena to fill her in she seemed to have managed to calm Kara down. The woman must've been a wizard or something. I had a feeling it was 'or something' and Kara was a little gayer than she let on but that wasn't the priority at that point in time. Miss Luthor's job was to keep Kara calm while I could do nothing. The problem wasn't related to my area of expertise and no one knew she was Supergirl, not even Lena.

Maybe if Kara's super hearing had been active she could've heard the upcoming problem. Maybe if her super strength was intact she could've broken out. Maybe if there hadn't been a camera she could've done something but it's not like any of her powers were working or she was bulletproof. Something creaked. All we heard after that was a scream and grunt before the line cut out. Lena was freaking out externally as much as I was internally. We were clueless until we heard the radio mention the incident and my ears honed in on the report.
"The elevators all fell a couple floors then stopped, over."
"Any injuries, over?"
"Unknown. No contact can be made to the one occupied but no others, over."
"Ambulance has been dispatched just in case, over."

She could've been seriously hurt. We had to get down there because none of us would get anything done otherwise. I needed to know she was okay. Brainy had told us the stats for her being hurt but they weren't exactly comforting. Kara hadn't really experienced human pain before and the one time she did, couldn't handle running. It was torture waiting. Traffic seemed surprisingly bad but that may have just been the anticipation. Nia had called too. I wasn't completely sure how she got my number but told me what we already knew. I must've been Kara's emergency contact or something. Nia also agreed to meet up in the lobby and help with anything we needed.

Kara's POV

I was just trying to get home. I wanted to stop by just to grab a coat or something then I was gonna go out for lunch. It was just a simple trip. Instead, the elevator stopped moments after it started. I knew it was fast but it didn't feel like we'd even moved a floor. I would've used my X-ray vision to check but I was currently recharging. I was helpless and just stuck, waiting. After the doors didn't open and nothing moved for a couple moments I finally used the help button. I could feel myself start to freak out but I was trying to hold it back.
