Narrator's POV
It was yet another sister night only this one finally felt, right. The two were going over memories from the past, sorting the fake out or telling them the real way, it was long overdue. Finally, Kara could talk to her about being kidnapped by the president, saving Lena and the plane in Kaznia, everything. They were watching something on TV as Alex continued to wonder more about her mind. For some reason she found herself staring at her hand, then it clicked.
A rather miffed lesbian turned to her younger sister. An incredibly accusing finger was pointed at the superhero with a gaze that could instill more fear than any villain.
"You shot me."
"I did not." When had Kara ever picked up a gun.
"Yes you did, with your eyes." Was Alex okay?
"Alex, what are you on about? Should I call J'onn, are you okay?"
"I'm not crazy, you hit me with the lasers. When there an attack in Nia's town." This, right here was when Kara remembered and immediately turned back on her sister, she may have also giggled a little.
"To be fair, you were gonna shoot an alien."
"So you shot your sister?"
"Oh please, it was like nothing."
"Maybe for you, you're bulletproof but I'm not." Kara stopped for a few moments, turning back to the TV and gorging herself some more with the ice cream.
"I'm not apologising for that. Besides, you've tried to kill me so many times, it was just a scratch." Alex knew she needed something, some little petty way to get back at her.
"Fine, but I'm driving back to mum's this weekend."
"Noooooo, I thought I was gonna fly us or I would drive." What about baggage?
"Last time you almost hit an animal."
"Almost, but I didn't." Apparently those literally lighting quick reflexes were useful.
"And I'm telling mum you shot me."
"I already told Eliza, she understood the circumstances."
"Bitch." What better way to sum it up?
"Well you're the one who taught me Earthly customs so what does that say about you?"
"Shut up, or I'll eat all the potstickers." Not the sacred food.
"That's fine I'll just ask Lena if she wants to have dinner with me in her office or something."
"Why do you have an answer for everything?" This was the most relatable moment anyone would ever have to Supergirl. She turned to her sister and without missing a beat or really caring muttered,
"Anxiety." That was when they finally returned to the TV screen, mind you, they had to rewind a little. It wasn't until later that either really spoke again.
"I still have the scar."
"Oh my Rao! Let it go!" That finally put a rest to the argument, for then. Siblings never really let it go.Author's Note:
First week of exams done 10 exams of 21 done, 3 weeks to go. I kinda felt like I had to share something. What with the finale airing, when I post this, tonight. I'm gonna have to completely avoiding social media until I can watch it like a day later, can't wait. That last episode though, damn. Who knows the kill count for this season? How many times has something like this happened in the show? And it still gets me every bloody time. Hope you enjoy guys, I'll try and keep working on some more stuff.
