I stared down through my bedroom window at the brown lands and the grey seas of what used to be the beautiful green and blue planet that the natives once called Earth.
I used to dream of this planet ever since I had opened my eyes. The vast oceans, the towering buildings and the wonderful varied climates were everything that I had ever dreamed of.
"Hey!" A voice said behind me. I turned away from my window to see Myree, my best friend, standing in the doorway.
"You ready yet?" Myree asked as she waltzed into the room and sat down onto my bed next to me.
"Nah," I shook my head, "I just wanted to have one last look at it up here before we Tele down there,"
"Well, hurry up," My friend said impatiently as she swiped her green hair behind her ear, "Thana Cax said that we gonna Tele soon."
Myree stood up and left the room.
I rolled my orange eyes at her ridiculousness. I loved her for that.
I was snapped out to my thoughts when I heard Thana Cax's voice over the speakers.
"Can all students report to the Loader to be prepared to Tele!" She announced.
I dragged myself away from my window and left the room, heading in the general direction I thought that the Loader was.

I arrived at the Loader about 4 leys after I had left my room.
I loved to Tele. It felt like all the wrong in all the universes didn't exist, it made you feel warm and safe, and when you open your eyes whilst Teleing you see a rainbow of colour; from the brightest red to the darkest purple, from the most vibrant orange to the most faded green. It was amazing.
Suddenly, I felt a sharp tap on my shoulder and a voice behind me said, "Junux Halpi,"
I winced. It was Thano Wilmn.
"Do you remember the one main rule about being in the Loader or do I have to send you home?"
"No standing around doing nothing, otherwise one body part may Tele to a different planet to the rest of your body." I recited from memory. God I hate the rules.
"Good," Thano Wilmn said, "now that you've done that, MOVE ALONG!"
I jumped back when he raised his voice and started to walk towards the Teler.
Once I had reached the large metal monstrosity of the Teler, I saw that most of my fellow classmates were already there.
I looked for Myree and her brother Myru in the crowd of at least 1000 Anux. I eventually found them close the the Teler.
I had arrived at the group whilst Thana Cax was giving one of her speeches that were famous for either being too long or too short. And by the looks of everyone's faces, this one was one of the longer ones.
"...I want you to remember this is the journey of a lifetime. You will never be able to do this again. But the most important thing about this trip, is not only to learn about how humans lived their lives before the disaster, it is to have fun! So let's get into an orderly queue for the Teler!" I just caught the end of the long speech that Thana Cax had given and was now joining the queue like everyone else was. Luckily I was near the front of it but Myree and Myru were closer to the end.
But that wasn't gonna stop us from having a good time if some of us were on Terra before others.
After about five or six people had gone, it was my turn to Tele. I stepped into the Teler with a huge grin plastered on my face. I looked at Myree who was standing on her tip toes giving a thumbs up.
I watched as Thana Sol pulled the lever and pushed a few buttons. That was all it took for someone to Tele, a lever and a few buttons.
I felt the slow tingling sensation on the back of my neck that happens when someone Teles.
My smile grew wider and wider.
And suddenly, I wasn't on the ship anymore. I was on Terra.
