I was sat down in a dark alley way waiting for Cass to return.
We had had to stop for a bit. Cass had to scout out to see if it was safe enough to keep going.
"It seems clear enough," Cass said as she waltzed back over to me.
She sat down next to me and looked me in the eye.
"Where are we going, Junux? Why can't we go back to the school?" She asked.
"We just can't, ok?" I replied.
Cass, Myope, couldn't know that she was being hunted down. I couldn't tell her that.
"Come on," I said and started to get up, "Let's go.""Left, Cass," I said, "No, not that way! I said left!"
We were walking towards the Loader which could hopefully get us down to Terra and to safety. Hopefully.
"I know you did," Cass replied, "Why did you call me that?"
"Call you what?" I asked.
"'Cass', you know that's not my name," she said.
I could feel my hair turning a bright shade of pink as my embarrassment grew.
"That doesn't matter," I replied coldly, "Come on, we'd better keep moving."A/N
