I shuffled through the building (Cass called it a "supermarket") looking for anything that might be edible.
I picked up a can of something called "Heinz Baked Beans".
"Is this okay?" I shouted over to Cass who was God knows where. I held up the can to show her what it was.
"Yeah! Tins are Good!" She yelled back.
I nodded and shoved it into the satchel Cass gave me. It was black with one or two skulls on it, three or four flowers and a few hand drawn pentagrams.
I wandered around a bit more until I ran into something. Someone. Myree.
"Ah shit!" She said as she dropped a glass object and creating a loud crash.
"Junux!" I heard Cass yell. "Is everything alright over there?"
Myree obviously hasn't heard Cass as she knelt down and began to sweep the tiny shards of glass under a shelf.
"So, Ju," Myree said bitterly, "having fun without everyone else?"
Shit. I'd forgotten about meeting up Myree and Myru.
"I'm so sorry, Myree," I apologised, "I had completely forgotten."
Myree scoffed as she said, "sure."
She stood up and began to walk in Cass's direction.
I panicked and grabbed her arm.
"Myree,  you've gotta leave. Everyone has to." I whispered.
"No. Why would we? Our parents spent millions of units on this trip and that was for us to learn about Earth and Human culture." She replied quite loudly.
"It's just that.." I said.
"What? It's just what?" Myree said impatiently .
I muttered something in response.
"What? Speak up!" Myree shouted.
"There's still a Human here!" I said a lot louder than I was meant to.
Myree froze and then slowly began to turn around to face me. I could feel my hair turning magenta with hints of red.
"What?" She said, her hair turning bright red with hints of orange. "A Human? A real Human? One of the deadliest species in the cosmos?"
But before I could replied there was a crash. There was a bang. And suddenly there was Cass on top of me. Her face close to mine
"Um, hi?" Cass said.
"Hi," I said with difficulty. Have you ever tried to talk when someone's full body weight is on top of you?
Cass slowly got up and stood a little awkwardly while I got up after her.
Myree stood there staring at Cass but only stopped when Cass noticed.

A while later, we were sat in Cass's house in the kitchen around the table.
"So..." Cass began but stopped when Myree looked at her.
A long awkward silence followed.
"How much of our conversation did you hear?" I asked quietly.
"Enough," Cass replied. She wouldn't make eye contact and she just kept on staring at her lap.
"Look, I'm sorry, Cass," I apologisedfor the hundredth time today, "I should've told you-"
"Yeah you should've." She said bluntly as she stood up and left.
I didn't do anything except watch her leave.
I should've told her.
It's my fault.
