you were clearing the clutter from your desk.papers about various cases,writings,and articles concerning the android connor.you frowned at the article.you liked connor.he was nice and kind.he even helped you with the promotion of you being the chief police.you wondered where he might have gone.he hasn't been around the police department like he always is.you frowned again and turned your head and continued to clean your desk.you were quite the neat freak,after all.after some time,you finished.but just before you could sit down,fowler called for you.you groaned and went to office. "yes captain?" you said,standing by the door. "come take a seat." fowler gestured to the seat.you sat down. "i received a call from cyberlife." he said. "you are to go there immediately." "did they enclose the info about why i need to go there?" you asked,curiously. "no." he stated. "ok,i'll be on my way,thank you." you said as you left his office.

after 30 minutes of traffic and honking at people's bad driving habits,you finally made it.you stared at the tall building. "that's one big building." you said. you walked in and went to the lobby. "hello,welcome to cyberlife." the android said pleasantly. "how may i help you?" "hi,i've been sent from the detroit police department." "cyberlife called there." the android's face was shocked. "erm,right this way,please." the android said,walking rather briskly to the destination.you were walked to a zen garden.weird,you thought. "just walk into the garden and amanda will see shortly." the android said,avoiding contact with you. "um,thank you!" you said,but no avail.she already had turned around the corner.you walked into the garden and look around.there were japanese maple trees,various shrubs and trees,a stream and a boat.a person was sitting there.but before you could say your greeting,the person beat you to it. "hello,(y/n)." she said. "erm,hello...?" you said,not knowing the person's name. "amanda." amanda said. "hello amanda." you said. "care to take a ride with me?" she gestured.you walked over there and got into the boat. "i preferred you would row the boat." she said. "o-oh." you said,looking for the paddles.they were behind your back.you started paddling. after some time,amanda started talking to you. "so why are you here,(y/n)?" she said. "i'm here because captain fowler said that cyberlife called for me." "i was the one who placed the call." amanda said,smiling. "so what do you need from me?" you asked.amanda placed a hand on your left shoulder. "what i'm about to tell you is not easy." amanda said in a low voice.but before she could tell you,you both were are where you started the boat ride.you got out first. "help me,please." amanda asked.you extended a hand to her and she reached out for it.you pulled her up and helped her out the boat.she started walking into the building. "follow me." she stated,not turning around to look at you.you followed her.after what seemed  like forever,you finally made it.amanda turned around to face you. "(y/n),what i'm about to show you is something difficult to face." you gulped nervously.she put the code for the door,it opened.you walked into the door.you slowly backed away in fear and terror,but the door was already closed.it was connor,with cuts and bruises on him,his clothing torn and wrinkled. "h-how long has he been here!?" you said,voice trembling. "it has been here since after the uprising." amanda said,never a slight emotion in her voice. she turned to you and handed you a gun. "chief captain (y/n),your mission is kill connor within one hour," she said,her glance at you never left. you stood there,in shock and fear.amanda slowly made her way to the door.but before she walked out the door,she spoke. "if you fail to kill connor in the one hour limit,you too will be killed." and with that,she closed the door.

you sat down next to connor. "connor," you whispered. "can you hear me?" connor groaned. "(y-y/n)?" connor murmured. "don't worry connor," you said looking around the room. "i'll get you out of here." "(y/n),it's no use." connor said. "we'll both get shot." "it's still better to try than not try!" you said,tears threatening to fall. "i'm not gonna kill you!" "(y/n),my time is over." connor murmured. "i know a android like me would never be granted the life you humans have." he said,slightly smiling. "connor..." you said. you sat up straight. "maybe we can kill amanda when the one hour time limit!" you said,excitingly!" "(y/n)-" connor said,but you kept going on. "we could do it! connor,it's a wonderful plan!" "(y/n)!" connor yelled. "it's never going to work!" "androids were just made to be used by you humans and discarded like trash!" you turned around to face him.the tears finally came down. connor immediately showed his regret. "(y/n),i'm-" connor said,but your crying was louder.connor slowly made his way towards you. "i'm sorry,(y/n)." he murmured into your shoulder. "i didn't mean to yell at you."
"it's okay,connor." you said,hugging him as well. "please don't say sorry." "it's your final moments." you glanced at the clock. only ten minutes left,you thought.you pulled the gun out of your back pocket. "(y/n)?" connor said,a hint of fear in his voice. "connor,before this ten minutes are up,i just wanted to say,i love you,connor." you said,softly smiling. "i love you,connor,i love you,i love you." you were crying once more. "i love you too,(y/n)." connor said,tears falling down his face.connor kissed you.you kissed him back,a sweet kiss mixed with the saltiness of tears. "i'm not going to kill you connor." you said. "i'm going to kill us both." "are you okay with it?" "yes." connor said.you hugged him,positioning the gun on the back of his head. "i love you,connor." you said for the last time. "i love you,(y/n)." he said for the last time. and with that,you pulled the trigger.for the clock has run out.
