It's been a month since Percy left Camp Half Blood. Sometimes Will and Nico come visit him. One time they even brought Reyna with them. That was about a week at him being at the cabin with Apollo. She had told him about how mad Annabeth has been. Reyna fears she's going to try something. Apollo was there and assured him that he was in safe hands. Will and Nico also promised to look after her.
Currently, Percy was laying on the sofa while Apollo was doing his godly things. Most of the time it was flying the sun. That duty meant that Apollo usually didn't show up during the day. Percy, by no means, was clingy, but it was nice to have Apollo around. Sure sometimes Nico and Will would come around, but Percy often felt that he was invading on their relationship. They could be out doing cute coupley things, but instead, they were there with him.
His dad hadn't came and checked up on him since he left. In fact, he didn't even know if Apollo got to telling Poseidon - or any of the gods - about their relationship. Percy assumed he hasn't because he didn't think Zeus would handle the knowledge very well.
Sometimes he found himself wondering about camp. Whether there was another big prophecy. Who new campers were. How Annabeth was handling her haikus (and how little she must talk, for once). Small things like that.
Everyday brought a new thought.
Today, it was, what if Tyson had returned to camp to see Percy. Oh Gods, Percy thought, what if he came to see me only for me to be gone. He'd show up at Camp Half Blood only to see that Percy wasn't there. Tyson would probably assume he was on a quest - something that made the Cyclops worry a lot.
Percy felt tears brim his eyes at the thought of his brother. Tyson could be facing the same things Percy had to go through just for being his brother.
"Calm down, Percy," Percy told himself. "Tyson would have contacted you through a dream if he was planning to visit camp. He always does."
But you haven't been sleeping, the voice reminded him.
"Shit," Percy muttered. He grabbed a jacket, slipping it on. With one last look at the sun, he ran toward camp. Percy didn't know what camp held for him, but something in his gut told him that it wasn't good.
Short chapter, I know. But it's better than nothing, right?
