"ATHENA!" the voice of Apollo boomed through the Throne Room of Mount Olympus, startling the Gods. "YOU KILLED HIM! . . . You killed Percy." The last part was weak, but he didn't care. The Gods were quiet, eyeing between the two.
"You killed my daughter," Athena stated matter-of-factly.
"Well your daughter tried to get Percy to kill himself and then raped him," Apollo argued. "I had every right to kill that bitch."
"Don't you dare speak of Annabeth like that," she glared.
"I-"
"QUIET!" Zeus yelled. The arguement ended, but there were still shared glares between the two Gods. "Neither of you two are in the right. But with that being said, I should have never let you be with Percy. All he's done is be a distraction. Therefore, you will not have any communication with Percy in the Underworld."
"But Father-!" Apollo felt himself on the verge of tears.
"No buts!" Zeus interrupted again. "My decision is final."
Apollo didn't wait, he teleported back to where Percy's grave is, but he didn't see him anywhere. Instead, he saw Nico talking to seemingly nobody. "Where did Percy go?" Apollo asked, bringing attention to himself. He was pretty sure he knew what the answer was, but didn't want to be the one to say it.
"What do you mean?" Nico cocked his head. "He's still right here."
"Oh."
~~Time Skip~~
The sun barely shown, and when it did, it wasn't for long. Some mortal scientists said that the earth was somehow moving away from the sun, but the truth was, Apollo had never recovered from Percy's death.
Fifty years have passed. It's been fifty years since he's spoke to Percy. Fifty years of depending on Nico to check in on Percy. According to Nico, Percy had died in the peak age, meaning that he hadn't aged a bit.
Apollo missed him dearly. He hasn't had another demigod child since Percy's death, meaning that most of his children were in their old age by now. Pretty soon they would all be dead. Camp Halfblood has officially dedicated the Apollo cabin to housing unclaimed children.
He didn't know how he could live out the rest of eternity like this.
~~~Time Skip~~~
Another ten years passed and still no words from Percy. Even Nico hadn't been able to summon him.
Apollo spent his days in the cabin he shared with Percy. Every night, he would lay in the bed, clutching the necklace he had bought Percy oh so many years ago while wearing his.
The days passed slowly and in a blur. The news came to him through Hephaestus TV that Will and Nico both died within weeks of each other. It hadn't phased Apollo, though.
Right now, he just wanted to Fade.
But he didn't know that those feelings could change so quickly from just a quiet knock on the door.
Oh yeah, by the way, the next chapter is the last one.
