"Percy?" he heard from behind him. There stood the girl from the cliff. She walked up behind him. "I didn't know the stories were actually true. What happened?"

"Athena," he muttered. He had been killed so easily, and after all he's been through.

Maybe Apollo won't forget about me, Percy thought sadly.

"I'm Casey, by the way. Casey Grace," she said, and Percy wasn't sure if she was trying to change the subject or not. "I'll show you how to temporarily leave if you want," Casey continued, "only certain people will be able to see you, though. I doubt your boyfriend will be one of them."

"Why could I see you?" Percy asked.

"I'm not sure," she said honestly. "Maybe it's because you have a connection to my sister."

"And your brother," Percy said, chuckling.

"Brother?" Casey cocked her head.

"It's a long story," he shook his head. "So are we going to leave, or what?"

"Let's go, then."
