"SPIDERS?!!"

Apollo laughed at the overly terrified screech coming from the blonde. She let out scream after scream as more filled up the space.

"Are they going to kill her?" Percy, who had regained himself to the point of not crying and being able to sit up, asked. Apollo say down next to him.

"Don't tell her this," Apollo whispered, "but none of them are venomous. Athena would vaporize me if I killed her. No matter how much she deserves it. But now she won't bother you anymore." Percy nodded.

It was silent for a few minutes. "She hurt me," Percy leaned into Apollo. "I thought she would stick by me. But then she....she..."

"She what?" Apollo asked, suddenly wondering if he wanted all the spiders to be safe. Percy whispered something, but Apollo couldn't work it out. "What was that?"

"S-she r-raped me," Percy's voice cracked as he forced the answer out. Apollo turned red in the face, silently making the spiders dangerous. At this moment, he didn't care what Athena thought. Nothing is worse than rape.

Apollo stood up, picking Percy up bridal style, knowing Percy wouldn't want to see his childhood friend killed by a shit ton of spiders. They went back to the cabin where they cuddled on the sofa.

"I'm sorry I had to leave you here alone," Apollo apologized. "I'm sorry I wasn't here to protect you. I'm sorry Percy." He felt a tear stream down his face as the danger he had put his boyfriend in hit him. He left him here to have his innocence taken by a girl who was trying to lead him to suicide. And it was all his fault.

"I just want things to go back to how they were," Percy buried himself closer to Apollo. "I want to be happy again."

"I know," Apollo nodded. "And I swear on the River Styx that I'll be the person who makes you happy again."

Percy nodded, accepting the answer. They stayed in their position, silent tears falling down both of their faces.

--MEANWHILE--

Athena sat on her throne as the image on Hephaestus TV showed up of her daughter in that pit. She was crying, her entire body covered in swelling bites. The monsters surrounding her only got closer. Annabeth tried to kill as many as possible, but there were too many of them.

She swore her revenge against Apollo for doing this to her daughter. Leave it up to Poseidon's child to basically be the cause of her strongest daughter's death.

And to spiders, nonetheless! Just another reason to add the worthless creatures on to the monster list.

Athena looked around the throne room, most of the Gods looking indifferent. Why wouldn't they? It didn't effect them. There was no huge prophecy Annabeth had to be part of.

Her eyes lingered on Poseidon who - surprise, surprise - was struggling to keep in laughter. She couldn't tell if it was who way dying or the cause. Either way, Athena was furious about the whole situation.

Athena closed her eyes, trying to get contact with Annabeth to figure out where she was. It was easy finding her, but of course, Apollo heavily guarded who could and couldn't enter. For one of only three times in her entire life, Athena felt defeated as she watched Annabeth slide down, accepting her fate.

The body was completely covered in seconds as the spiders began to feast on the recently fallen prey. Athena didn't cry, but she did become more anger driven. Apollo had gone too far.

And if Apollo thinks he can hurt his daughter, she will hurt the one he cares about worse.
