The thing is, nobody wants to welcome a war. The fighting, the killing, the bloodshed, the sadness and the fear. There has never been a war that's ended well. This time, we're changing the way we think. This war is not any war. My father made a pact with the neighbouring kingdom of Wyverna, called Servania. When Irseval attacked us, Servania abandoned our kingdom. Now that we've welcomed the war, and are fighting for what we know and love, we cannot lose.
Strongma is the closest town to Wyverna, sitting a five minute horse ride outside of the kingdom's barrier. A town made of rocks for the safety of all the so-called monsters that live there. I couldn't believe that Striker, the prince of this land, would just leave before a battle he promised he'd never leave my side in. And for a princess outside of the known land. It didn't matter though. I had other, truer, friends who were here to help and fight for themselves. Rathelia is training to be the royal Spell Keeper of Wyverna and she is powerful. So powerful I feel bad for anything that tries to fight her. Though she is childish, it makes her who she is. Most Spell Keepers are so bland and serious, yet she's learned more in her few years learning then most Spell Keepers learn in a decade. Bowen is a man of his word. He wants what's best and wants to make the world a better place. A true king who was chosen to wield the blade of a God Killer. Prince George, Bowen's Older brother and fighting master. He's been training since as long as he can remember. He was taught to be king, but that didn't stop him from learning to read and write and become more then what he was told to be. Gwenyth, a Widowna who was lonely. Her family was killed before her eyes because of Irseval. She's different in multiple ways, but she never pretends to be someone she's not. She even built our armour out of her unbreakable webbing. Rolande, the youngest of my brothers. He has a lot of sass and isn't afraid to show it. The most childish of the bunch, though his skills are amazing. He would always try to one-up me at everything, making his skills quite useful and near perfection. Jovsin is here not only for the love of his friends and family, but because he knows what's right. He is the middle brother and always is the one with a clear head. Even when Irseval was controlling him, he still had his own mind and helped us through the hardest times. Svenon is the oldest brother, becoming king when this is over with. He's strong, mentally and physically. He locks himself up, but he always has room in his heart for someone else. He does everything to make sure others have what they need too, whether it be love or a helping hand. Coopska I haven't known that long, but I can tell that he's loyal. Someone who would do anything for a friend. He's obviously had a rough childhood, being born a dark skinned elf. Not only would he be bullied for his skin colour, but also his pointy ears. Though that has built up how character, causing him to grow up to be a strong man with abilities nobody else has. This small team was more powerful then most armies. Including myself with all my little quirks, including remembering everything I see hear or feel and being able to speak in the tongue of Wyverns. Even being able to use Jagg in battle. Not to mention that me and my brothers and I are unkillable if we don't fight. Seeing us set up for this war, and how much we've grown, I could not be prouder of us and what we've done.
Prince George walked over to me. "You've seemed to know what to do this entire time. So, what do we do now? Everyone is ready to follow your lead."
I took my ring out of my pocket, looking at it and thinking. "It's time to fight. We've had lots of rest and the sun is going down now."
The travels was short, yet felt like the longest ride of our lives. Once inside, we started taking down the real monsters who were trying to defend the kingdom. The kingdom that didn't belong to them. The entire kingdom awoke to fighting. Some were scared, running to safety or hiding, others came out to help in the battle. It had only started and we already had to take back a few soilders. I hated this, but it's what had to happen. They all volunteered for this, fully knowing what could happen. The more we went into the kingdom, the more dead bodies fell to the ground. Some of them from each side. We had to get to the castle though.
Jagg and I used our fire to help clear a path, Rathelia using her staff to create spells all over the place. She would make a beam of hot light, turning some into dust, while also turning other groups into bugs so i could burn them to a crisp.
Rathelia got knocked down off her horse. She jumped up, her ankle bleeding badly. "I've got this! Keep going!"
I had to keep going forward. At some point, the others had stopped to fight. I looked back to see Gwen and Cordelia working together to take out large groups. You could see the massive clear blue waves of Cordelia's body drowning monsters left and right. Knowing which ones to spare by the armor Gwenyth had made for the innocent. She kept making armor for the people here. Getting to where the Wyverna castle was, there was a bunch of skeletons there. We all jumped off our rides. Jagg went tocontinue fighting somewhere else while the horses ran off somewhere safe. It was just Bowen, George and I.
George ran right for the skeletons. "I got these things! Go kill Irseval! When he's dead, these things will turn to dust!"
Bowen grabbed my hand, running into the castle as George ran away with an army of the undead following him. As we got inside, Bowen ran off somewhere. I was left alone in a home I hadn't called home in a long time. It was so dark inside. I took out my weapon, ready to fight. Tears streaming down my face. I got into the outside garden in the middle of the castle. Standing in the moonlight was Irseval. A grin on his face, while his eyes were filled with blood lust.
"It ends now." I told him.
He cackled. "It certainly does, little girl. You're all alone now. Prepare to die."
