Chapter 6: The Cursed Song

Erza's POV

I was running through the train station with Natsu, Grey, Happy, Oak, Lucy, and an unconscious Kageyama. We were heading outside where (y/n) was waiting.

Natsu: so what's (y/n) doing exactly?

Erza: he's trying to figure out an alternative way through the barrier.

Grey: has he had any luck yet?

Erza: not yet, but until he does Kageyama's our only option.

We arrived outside and saw (y/n) at the edge of the wind barrier. He turned and noticed us.

(Y/n): hey, did you guys find anything that can get us out of here?

Erza: yes, this wizard should be able to take down the barrier, but he's currently unconscious. Another Eisanwald wizard tried to kill him but failed.

(Y/n): are you serious? I guess Eisanwald wizards aren't so loyal to their guild mates.

Erza: that's not all, we found out Erigor's true plan.

He perked his head up in surprise.

Erza: he's heading to Clover to use Lullaby on the guild masters.

I saw (y/n)'s expression change from a look of surprise to a look of pure and utter rage. He ran towards the wall of the barrier.

(Y/n): APOCALYPSE DRAGON RAGING FIST!

His fist struck the barrier with no effect, it didn't seem to effect him either. he then started punching it repeatedly with the same result.

(Y/n): WE! HAVE! TO! GET! OUT! OF! HERE!

His eyes turned red and his hair turned white. I looked down at Oak and saw that he had a worried look on his face. I had to stop (y/n) before he hurt himself.

Erza: (y/n), stop that's not gonna work!

(Y/n): IF I PUNCH HARD ENOUGH IT WILL!

Oak: (y/n), please stop!

(Y/n) turned to Oak and stopped his barrage of punches. He looked at him with a disturbing look of malice.

Oak: you promised me that you wouldn't loose control, remember?

(Y/n) then put his hand on his forehead and began whispering to himself.

(Y/n): I made a promise. I made a promise. I made a promise.

I could tell this wasn't working, so I walked over to him and place my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me.

Erza: just relax, (y/n).

I then proceeded to punch him in the stomach, knocking him out.

Oak: WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!

Erza: he was loosing control, I had to stop him before he hurt himself.

I held (y/n) in my arms and watch as his hair returned to it's normal color.

Erza: just let him rest, he should be fine when he wakes up.

Oak: ok, if you say so.

Oak still had a worried look, he truly cared for his best friend.

(Y/n)'s POV

I didn't know what came over me. 1 moment I was thinking of ways to get through the barrier, the next I was punching it like a maniac. The last thing I remember was Erza putting her hand on my shoulder before everything went black.I staggered awake and felt my stomach churn. Suddenly there was a large bump and I bounced up from where I was apparently sitting.
