Chapter 22: Blood Moon Rage

Natsu's POV

Me and this guy, Simon, were making our way up the tower. After being taken down by that owl, I was really fired up and ready for a rematch. Simon got word from his buddies that they were taking Juvia and Lucy somewhere safe. He also learn from some guy named Sho, that Erza was on her way to fight Jellal, and that (y/n) was heading our way.

(Y/n): NATSU!

We both turned and saw (y/n) flying towards us, but he was coming in too fast and crashed into the stairs behind us. Me and Simon rushed to help him.

Natsu: dude, are you ok?!

He sat up and I saw that his chest was completely wrapped in bandages, and had blood stains showing through them.

Simon: you're wounded, what happened?!

(Y/n): that bitch from Trinity Raven happened, but that doesn't matter. Erza's on her way to fight Jellal.

Simon: we know, Sho told us. You need to find your friends and get as far away from here as possible.

(Y/n): not gonna happen.

Simon: you're too injured to fight Jellal, you won't stand a chance!

(Y/n): I'M NOT LEAVING THIS TOWER UNTIL I KNOW ALL MY FRIENDS ARE SAFE, SO IF YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE SO BAD THEN YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO DRAG ME TO THE BOAT YOURSELF!

Simon flinched at his sudden outburst, he regained a calm expression and sighed.

Simon: it's obvious that I can't stop you from coming with us, let's get moving.

I helped (y/n) to his feet and we followed Simon.

Me and (y/n) were continuing our journey to the top of the tower. Simon stopped to rest for a bit so we went on a head. I decided to walk behind (y/n), just in case he started lagging behind. Suddenly, he grabbed his chest and winced. I placed my hand on his shoulder and lifted him up on to my back.

(Y/n): really? I was defeated with 1 strike to the chest, at least let me keep some of my dignity.

Natsu: you can barely walk, if you keep walking then we'll never get to the top in time.

(Y/n): fine, but if you tell anyone about this, I'll murder your ass.

I felt (y/n)'s head perk up in surprise.

(Y/n): what's that?!

I looked out of a window and saw bright light pouring in.

Natsu: oh no, that's gotta be the etherion strike.

(Y/n): WELL, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! MUSH!

I ran as fast is I could, trying to make it to the top in time, but it was too late. We shielded our eyes as the etherion blast made impact with the tower. For a moment I thought we were dead, but I open my eyes and saw that we were surrounded by blue crystals.

Natsu: what in the heck just happened to this place?

(Y/n): I have no idea, but it can't be good. Let's get moving.

Natsu: got it, wanna ride on my back again.

(Y/n): I'll be fine. Erza needs our help, let's go.
