Lyric's POV
Me, Amber, and Stella walked into the guild hall with our heads down. Erza and Natsu approach.
Natsu: hey guys. Did you get that stone thing?
We just walked past him. Erza then noticed 1 of us was missing.
Erza: wait, where's (y/n).
None of us answered. We just sat down at a table. Erza walked over to us and asked the same question, only this time sounding more worried
Erza: Lyric...where is (y/n)?
My rage got the better of me as I stood up and tell the answer to her question.
Lyric: HE'S DEAD! (Y/N)'S DEAD! ELDRA TURNED HIM INTO A PILE OF ASHES RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!
Tears started pouring from my eyes as my rage turned to grief. Erza look to Stella for confirmation. Stella started crying harder than me, which was enough to confirm that what I said was true.
Erza dropped to her knees and began crying. Everyone else began to have the same reaction.
Natsu: NO...HE CAN'T!
Lucy: he's supposed to be one of the strongest wizards Fairy Tail has, how is that possible?!
Everyone had tears in their eyes. However, Erza seemed to be the most torn up about it.
We all flinched when we began to hear a slow, musical whistling. It was coming from outside. We all exited the building and saw a thick fog covering the whole town. The whistling grew louder as 5 figures walked through the mist.
???: Hello little fairies. I assume you already heard what happened to the Disaster.
They emerged from the mist.
Natsu: DEADLOCK!
I felt my rage grow seeing Eldra's face. I charged at him and red and black energy surrounded my body.
Lyric: APOCALYPSE GOD DESTRUCTION SPIRAL!
He just put his arm up and blocked my attack.
Eldra: you may be a godslayer but there's no way in hell you can slay me.
I channeled my magic into the palms of my hand. I pressed them to the ground and released it.
Lyric: APOCALYPSE GOD MASS CALAMITY!
The ground beneath them exploded. Suddenly, an arm came out of the dust cloud and punch me in the gut. I flew backward and hit the wall of the guild hall. The ground underneath them repaired itself and they were all still standing.
Amber: THIS IS FOR (Y/N)! ICE GOD SUB-ZERO BLADES!
Stella: AMBER, WAIT!
Amber ran at them, blades in hand.
Eldra: Pain, she's all yours.
Pain ran at Amber and dodged her blades. When he saw an opening to strike, he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up into the air.
Pain: haha, your soul. It smells so...tasty.
Amber began squirming as Pain started absorbing her soul. Stella tried to go and save her, but I held her back, fearing she might get herself killed. Just then, Levy pointed something out.
Levy: what's going on with the sky?!
Everyone looked up to see what she was talking about, including the Deadlock members. Pain stopped absorbing Amber's soul and looked up himself.
When we looked to the sky, we saw that the clouds had turned red and began swirling above Magnolia.
Tyga: what the hell?
